Eric Ray Peterson 1947 - 2012

Eric Ray Peterson, 65, of Bellevue, WA, passed on Wednesday, December 19th 2012.He was born January 21, 1947 in Seattle, WA to Elizabeth and Ray Peterson.Eric graduated from Bellevue High School 1965, and studied dramatic arts at Whitman College. After college, he joined the Coast Guard where played the trumpet in the band. Eric worked in advertising most of his life, creating witty and artful marketing campaigns, slogans, and jingles. In retirement, Eric was an avid reader, crossword expert, green thumb, and loving parent.Eric is survived by his wife, Marjie, and their daughter Kelsey Searles (spouse, Michael), son Nick Peterson, daughter Aimee Ishikawa (spouse, Matt) and their children Leila and Nathan Ishikawa, and his brother Steve Peterson.A memorial / celebration service for Eric will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec 27th in Bellevue.
