Great video. I made the trip to Cincinnati (from Lexington) with a buddy to pick his dual motor up over the Easter weekend. Being an engineer, I love the engineering that went into the vehicle. It has me drooling after driving my MYLR for the last 2 years.
Cooool. It's always entertaining to see people's reactions to that kind of acceleration. 😂 Btw this thing gets lot of unnecessary hate online so be prepared or don't bother reading them.
I absolutely love the tech and minimalism of Tesla they are fantastic. This is why I love my refreshed M3 LR. Congrats🎉🎉 on your father's new Cyber Beast. That is awesome!!! Hope he has lots of fun with it and enjoys it 😊
@@icy1007 On a long road trip, you will waste hours at the chargers. Standing in line too, perhaps. Camry has a very long range, and refilling the gas tank takes 5 minutes. Camry is MUCH better than Tesla on a road trip. It also has nicer interior, and a full dashboard .
@@DerekDavis213 You won't waste hours charging on road trips nor standing in any lines. It's not better than Tesla on road trips or at home. Camry is much lower quality in materials and in overall features. Very basic car.

I drove the ludicrous x years ago: less power 720HP but also lighter: INSANE. An hour later i still had a weird feeling in my pelvis sitting in a chair because i felt initially my guts shifting during acceleration
Wow, congrats to your Dad! I'm sure you all will have lots of fun with it. I could watch Tesla acceleration reaction videos all day long! Side note: What's your Dad do for a living because I'm switching careers so I can buy one asap 😂
@@MetzTech Wow, I don't have steady enough hands or a steady enough stomach to be a surgeon...so I guess I'll just have to keep playing the Lotto 😅 Thank him for his service in the medical field. That Cybertruck is well deserved.
Caliper covers from Tesmainian. Can’t really recommend them since they don’t send you the correct brackets for the rear calipers and still have yet to reply to my email from several months ago
If I had room for one or the need I definitely would! This is as close as I need to be to one. I have been daily driving it for several days now. I love it for sure
@@MetzTech I could tell you fell in love with the thing immediately. That huge goofy grin as you were pressing the accelerator pedal and that laugh. I must admit I am a bit jealous. But as a Canadian, we haven’t gotten any cyber trucks yet and the price difference is outrageous.
It’s hard not to. Feels like a piece of history. Kind of surreal. Unfortunate that they’re so expensive though. The next wave with (hopefully) lower prices will take this thing to the next level
Derek you never cease to amaze me. Your dedication to all things Tesla is a sight to behold. I believe that Tesla will make it because of loyal patrons like you 🙏🏻
@@MetzTech I would like to be loyal to Tesla. And it doesn't require much: Stop hyping FSD that does not work, after 4 years in beta. Bring the Turn Signal Stalk back. FSD is no longer in beta. And it works. I think far fewer people miss the stalks than you think. There is one current model that has stalks and that will be gone soon too… and Tesla’s are selling like hotcakes. I think you can let it go now. It took all of one day of driving to never think about it again.
the whole family chuckling has me cracking up lmao.
😂 I know right? I think people just don’t know how to put it into words…you just laugh at how insane it is!
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻

I agree. That’s been my favorite part of driving it around, just seeing everyone’s reactions. Still haven’t had a negative reaction in person 😅

It sounds like her but it’s Abigail 😄
The most fun thing to do in a Tesla…floor it!😂
Amen to that!

Yes, minimalism: no dashboard, no Turn Signal Stalk, minimal range, and FSD is not working after 8 years of promises .
@@DerekDavis213 They have great range and FSD works very well.

Hello I configured a cyberbeast June 7th 2024. What was the wait time from order configuration until the vin was assigned?
I placed the order 4-5 years ago. Please lmk I can’t wait to take delivery !!
It was a couple months.

Hey man is the steering wheel and screen bigger in the cyberbeast then the regular Cybertruck?
I don’t think so. I think it’s the same across the board

Spending that kind of money and for it to have panel gaps and not being cleaned is ridiculous.
