I have a Honda 3" gas pump, 17k gallons an hour that I use to drain pools. It is awesome for getting them done and not having to make two trips. Can typically get a pool drained, cleaned out, acid washed or pressure washed and refilling within 3 hours on an average sized pool.
@@inyourpoolbusiness If I use a submersible pump, I drain to the sewer if the home in on the local sewer system. I also have a lot of pools that are on wells and septic, so I water the grass! A large percentage of the time, I just drain to the street. Never had an issue with the city, only nosey neighbors. LOL
You ever feel the need for a little endoscopic camera? I've seen some on amazon that are a phone attachment, waterproof and have a light on it and was debating about purchasing for my route but not sure if i'd ever actually use it/the time efficiency of it
A few videos back I heard you say that you were on FB but I can't find you. I'd love to ask you a few questions about a startup business. Thanks for the videos!
still in the works, I'm just so busy with the business and life but I want to get that going soon so I can have a place for guys to network and bounce ideas off of. Subscribe to the channel because I'm sure I'll mention it in a video when it's all set up.
in phx we drain plaster pools when its less than 80 degrees and pebble tec can be drain year round but most guys will drain pebble pools when it's 100 degrees or less. this is to prevent cracking of the surface. Always plan to drain then fill as quickly as possible
I also am curious why it has to be drained. Does it need fresh water, are you wanting to pressure wash? Thanks for the uploads. Btw it’s library not libary!!! Thanks again!

wow that's insane! we have to drain into the sewer here :( that pump would cause some major sewer back up!

Thank you for this info. I heard in the summer I not a good idea to drain?
Can be situational. What was the reasoning that you heard?

calcium and cya build up in the pool water over time, we drain every 2-4 years in phx metro
So do you scrub it out , or just drain and fill?
just drain and fill 95% of the time
What would they say not To drain the Pool at all. It seems like it would be a lot easier to clean the surface. Aka Power-wash!!!
Just depends on circumstances.
