Thanks, it was a good day and I think I got those at a good price. Worth it to me anyway. Thanks for checking em out. Have a good and safe rest of the week.
I built the Ramchargers rail in the 60s. Built it OOB. Got a 2nd one with the modern transporter. Used rhe bed ramps to build a trailer because the transporter truck is not my style. Modified the 2nd rail cut off the nose at the rear motor plate/firewall. Cut the tail off at the roll cage lower diagonal so the aluminum seat shell was exposed. As was common in cars without an aero tail. Neither one survived the earthquake in 71. Now that both versions are out again, I plan to buy a couple or more of the rails. 1 to build OOB again. 1 to build my 2nd one again. 1 to build with the Bantam Coupe body from the 1 to put a T roadster body on. So that's 4. I have a frame for a Jawbreaker, which is the Ramchatger chassis with a cut down 32 Tudor body shell. Which is kinda big and wonky for a Comp Dragster nody shell. Most used 23-25 T roadster, 32 Bantam Coupe, or Fiat Topolino. All compact body shells. But the Jawbreaker frame lacks axles. That Ramcharg e rs rail is a good one. Don't put it down because some folks don't like MPC muscle car kits rue to simplified chassis compared to current more detailed offerings. Got some good deals there. That deuce is a fine kit too. It is actually a kit of a real hotrod from a long time ago. Maybe you SHOULD have taken your slot cars. Some fine models in thos slot cars. Just because nobody else entered, so you beat yourself. Nobody entering means the category won't exist next time. At least you would keep it alive. I'm subbed to Tim's channel. I'm still catching up on what I missed in the hospital and all the doctor visits since. I'll get to Tim's Derby City show. He does pretty good coverage.
Thanks Dusty, I like all the Old School Dragster's. The 32' 5 window is one of the Coupe's I've been wanting. I hope you get those kits to do your builds again. If I'd hadn't had something come up that I absolutely had to get took care of I would have taken the Slot Cars. Dang, I didn't think of it as the class might not exist due to no interest. Tim always has Cool coverage of where ever he's at, Model Cars, Real Cars, He's a really Cool Feller. Thanks for checking us out and commenting.
