In Kenya a foundation that I covered one of the most interesting Blue Marine conservation opportunities with focus on Blue Carbon, are doing so well and has great understanding of the Blue Carbon space.
Those areas are not only inhabited by all of those animals and plants but also by people! So all investments in blue carbon must be done in proper collaboration and with free prior informed consent by the coastal communities, and they should be the ones having the rights of those areas and gain from any possible carbon investments. They are the stewards of the ocean.
The fact that there are nowhere near the subs this channel should have is evidence that we are early. Keep buying..... This is bitcoin at 100 dollars

The issue with "natural" blue carbon credits to be viable investment to offset standard commercial emission activities is measuring the sequestration data. It's not as simple as acquiring core samples of a blue carbon soil site. As salt mash ecosystems sequester co2 emissions from the ocean and atmosphere. And if sea grass is associated with fauna biodiversity, the data to measure co2 sequestration would require technology not common in our current capacity for now. I'm not saying it's impossible. It's out there it's just a matter of where the hell is it. It could be on the NASA space station, could be in the archives of the Vatican church, or an old timer working on one in his workshop. The point is measuring, so investors are confident in the credit purchase process of quality and high technological practice involved.
What about mountain land on an island is that blue carbon credits?
Is phytoplankton in carbon blue groups ?
