This cover, shared on Phoebe's social media accounts on 03.29.20, highlights an ongoing effort to support the Bootleg Theater (the place where Phoebe and Conor first met) during its closure due to COVID-19 mandates in Los Angeles. The line: "...Looked like Mamah Borthwick on that Shining Brow of Taliesin" is so genius, Taliesin means "Shining Brow" and the whole incident included makes me respect Frank Loud Wright and his care for others through his constructions! Beautiful done bye Phoebe, she gives a high toned and melodical rendition of a golden Oberst song(which is still imo the best).

He's an alien from planet songwriter
If you’re attempting to criticize Phoebe, true So Cal natives tend to be laid back. Her influences are other So. Cal artists, like Jackson Browne. Conor is a one of a kind wordsmith. I don’t think his work will be appreciated by the masses until he’s gone and that’s probably a good thing. He’s probably just enough famous to earn a living and play music. I love this song, it’s a lyrical masterpiece if you know the subject matter. A very sad story about a man who tragically lost his muse.
He wasn't attempting to criticize Phoebe. He simply implied that other songwriters can't come close.

It's so very hard for me to comment here. You are absolutely amazing. And truly a beautiful looking woman. If I had that tight rope, I would surely fall. But you stay steady now - you walk that tight rope and continue to share the beauty that is in you. Seriously, you're music is amazing and doesn't come along in the full package very often (my wife also has that).
