I mean he did mention that it was the summer and he dind't have school anymore. When you have a lot of homework the last thing you want to do is more work. All you want to do is relax, especially if you have extracurriculars or/and a lot of hard classes. I fear that we will go into another year long drought like Eclipse mentioned, but hey, we were all glad for the content filled summer, having 3 MAJOR updates in 2 months (not even mentioning the countless small patches).

I really like the rework! I hope Crazy Diamond will be one of those stands that aren’t too overpowered, but certainly usable. A stand in the future I would like reworked would be King Crimson! Especially how it just fell off (unless you had an overpowered spec like Vampire) after Impale cheese got fixed. Uzu on that grindset!

11:20 2 things here 1: they said that they decreased ta4 wormhole windup which they did, what they didn't tell you was that it now comes out in about half a second 2: they also didn't say that they added stun to the getup of wormhole meaning now you can barrage them once they get up. Ta4 now has a auto combo more braindead than old SCR's. Wormhole nails, uppercut, spec stun, barrage, repeat. Takeaway here: they regret buffing a projectile stand.

my tears of joy when this rework came out were immense. for almost 2 years i've been waiting for any jojo game to add a unique and cool crazy diamond that really shined on its true abilities rather than just "bearing wall heal mode." being my favorite stand, crazy diamond has taken a great injustice for generations of jojo games and im shocked with joy to see that its finally happened.

Something I wanna mention about the execution for CD... your stand will look back at you and raise its fist, as if asking you for permission to attack the victim. Your character will give a shrug, or a pose that basically says "I don't know man," then your stand will face the victim while shaking its head slightly as if annoyed. I love it, it gives a the stand so much personality and (in my opinion) makes the stand feel more attached with you, instead of being just a stand or collectable skin you have.
Not to mention the fact the stand healed its opponent, so its like "hey do I really have to end him" "idk man" and then they try attacking again and get beat up for it lol
They fr keep buffing Anubis. First they make Curse Imbued Slice unblockable, then they made it so you can use pluck moves passively with it, and now damage buff…..
Honestly I like how they did crazy diamond but what I’m really impressed about it is that the6 did it all without rage mode great stand rework and I’m glad Uzu has finally started taking his game seriously again and we have been getting content

One odd thing is that even if you have spec moves bound to another key, if the default bind for a stand skill is the same key, it will default to the stand skill (even if you rebound the stand skill), which can get annoying.
5:31 the cheese in that was timeskip to the sky and then use timestop, this making the enemy can't react to the windup of the timestop, making this free damage
I really enjoy the updates the YBA dev team dish out each and every time, but now I’m starting to think the game is drying out (and might soon fall off due to repetitiveness). Most updates are usually just: - Rework/Implementation of something - New skins with questionable rarity - Balance changes - New 1v1/2v2 maps - Repeat But overall, the game has potential the developers (especially Uzu) refuse to tap into, which can include new game modes, significant QoL gimmicks, extra combat options, continued story into Stone Ocean. Hopefully they keep up better soon.
Well they should probably add something a bit more [like you said] and add different game modes like capture the flag or team deathmatch [because YBA has a pvp system that can let you fight teams with ease and capture the flag is straight forward lol] because it would attract a lot of new players to yba bc it isn't JUST competitive stuff or random servers usually with a toxic gang war [they could maybe add a map for each storyline like the old map for the og map and and this map for a part 3 storyline or smthn OR they can add a PvE game mode like waves with bosses like dio oh or jp6
second stun is most likely the reason why double vine slap into vine trap was true, it did a knockback and a stun, which paired together made you have a guaranteed vine trap
if you are correct about the "one flashy move that looks cool", i cant wait to see if Uzu makes one for TWOH. There is so much potential for a finisher move its just insane

Don't use the new tusk auto combo, but here it is: Wormhole uppercut --> Wormhole nails --> Beatdown --> Wormhole uppercut --> Wormhole nails --> Eye gouge --> Barrage --> Jaw breaker.
I might be a bit late on this and 78 other people might have already commented about this but, they buffed Tusk act 4, way too much. The main part of the buff that breaks the game is that after wormhole uppercut finishes and you get up, you are stunned for an eternity. Paired with wormhole uppercut now activating at light speed, this just means every 10 seconds you get an eye gouge, barrage and jaw breaker. They basically just made King Crimson impale cheese 2.0. This is just stupid and I hope it gets changed.
Ta4 is the new cmoon... Nails now have absurd stun and can combo into wormhole uppercut, and wormhole uppercut can now combo into beat down. Basically, you press T and X while hovering over someone's character, they don't press F, they lose 3/4 of their hp to the new "tusk auto combo"

Wormhole Uppercut is pretty good now! The player goes in and out of the wormhole in a fraction of a second, so its much easier to land because the opponent needs really good reaction time.
Well, tusk is broken rn. The uppercut is pratically unreactable and its got so much stun that u can just walk up to the opponent and barrage them, since they also get stand crashed.
im more amazed on how much personality the bd cd has in its animation (or in other words, how much is going on in the bd by itself if ''personality'' is not the right word for it)
For the hermit purple thing, vine slap has two hits and both hits have stun so it means that the move has less stun since you only really get fully stunned by the second, the first stun just prevents you from attacking after you get hit by the move so you can't punish hermit purple players for doing a move
The reason Time Skip puts Time Stop on cooldown now was because of people essentially abusing it to teleport into the air so that their TS couldn't be cancelled. And it was really annoying since people could just do teleport into the air above you so that they'd be sitting on you once time had stopped.
The keybind reworked should be actually reverted, it literally gave me more problems than before. My keybinds are set in a way where none of my stand skills are bounded on top of the spec skill keybinds, but for some reason some of my moves will either be swapped back to default whenever my boxing gloves are out while my stand is ALSO out. As well as some of my moves not even coming out until I put the boxing gloves away, despite being completely original keybinds. My Crazy Diamond boxing key layout simply doesn’t work. But hilariously enough, that is pretty much NOTHING compared to whatever the hell happened to Anubis pluck. My LMB’s when my pluck is out no longer uses the stand LMB and instead switches to the regular pluck LMB’s. Ironically, some of my pluck keybinds only work correctly AFTER hiding my stand away, which for some reason is the exact opposite situation than my Crazy Diamond boxing situation. Again, none of my stand keybinds overlap with my spec keybinds, however the keybind update is literally a buggy mess and should just be reverted as a whole to the previous version. I honestly don’t know why they’d have to change something that had no problems to begin with.
Btw for people wondering, yes Double Vine Slap had stun on the second hit and if you did it up close it could true combo into vine trap 2 so glad they nerfed that
I just gotta say, cd is SUPER op, u have so many dmg options, combo options and a low cd counter that gives u rage… the one homing bullet is an unavoidable gb and the crazy wall is almost jawbreaker 2.0
well the keybind update make that so if you switch spin moves to eachother you just can't use the moves (i found this when i'm changing my ta4 spin skill tree)
the keybind change also broke switching keybinds on vampire. you just can't do it anymore. i dont know if it's like that for other specs too but my stand seem to function fine
i think the idea of rework the worlds road roller its good but i think it should be a bit like bites the dust because if it turns into a parriable grab/beatdown its basically a nerf since you will get punished for missing it or getting parried and you wont be able to confirm it off a vampire freeze the idea is it works like bites the dust when you can run away from it but its cancellable like it is right now so you cant just barrage and make half of someones hp dissapear
Anubis is kinda broken right now, if you have pluck. Before this update, you could use the pluck moves and bind them to any key you wanted, even if you didnt have the pluck sword item on. But now, even if you change the binds, pluck moves only come out as their original key. For example, if you have pierce strike bound as C, the little tornado thing comes out instead of what you wanted, even if theres no other move bound to that key. Same with all the others. Hopefully this makes sense. If not I can show you, just lmk here on yt.
Really cool but i'll miss old cd, not sure if they Ever patched this but old wall used to give s for a second after You use the wall so You could just Dodge all of killer Queens detonations
They should make pluck get defense when you gain tempo, and they either need to make the sword do more damage, do the same damage as your stand, or make tempo give enough defense and damage to warrant using it even existing. Pluck is cool but missing half my health cause of no defense sucks
hermit purple changes mean they reduced the stun on the second hit of vine slap and removed the hyper armor and the knockback on the move, as a hermit purple main (vamp box) myself tbh this doesnt change a lot u can still true combo 1 into 2 and then u use vine slap, atleast now its not a "free combo starter" anymore
As a rhcp main those changes kind of scare me, rhcp did not really need to be tweaked, maybe the pinky slash wind up if only? But all these changes seem overturned to me, and if electric discharge is faster windup aswell then it might be able to combo extend with the electrify m1s :/ which ofc, if going to make it a strong stand, but then I fear nerfs that just make the stand worse than it was before the changes.
if anyone tries to save spec moves onto a new key, u need a spec weapon like boxing gloves to use... BUT UMBRELLA IS EXEMPTED! vamp is just messed with nearly every update and tbh its worse than umbrella not m1'ing, AT THE SAME TIME - using boxing gloves resets your stands key binds
Sc now have the fastest m1 in game and if use shed armor you will do full 5 m1s combo faster than a second. Sc now literally stand with the fastest attacks but still mid barrage
what i assume the purple hurmit nerf is saying is basically the stun from the 2nd vine slap doesn't stun anymore sorry if this is incorrect, that's what i got out of it
Did some testing because i have a bunch of these stands on alts, heres what I got: "2s Global CD" to timeskip makes it so that you HAVE to get block break to confirm a timestop. Im not happy with this change at all, it made TS super hard to land. But it makes the lives of other non TS stand users lives better so im not complaining - After testing, "Gravitational Shifts" Range is FUCKING ABSURD. You can hit people from across the solar system. - RHCP is pretty good now, It was fine before but its now very strong. - TWAU still was spammable with the knives cooldowon getting nerfd by 1 second previously. It still does the samage damage but less stun. You'll take the damgae but knives cant extend combos anymore. They had a small amount of stun originally. - The second stun on Double "vine slap" broke block, and if you were close you could true combo "Grapple 1" off of it. So that no longer exists - Silver Chariot can pull you in and use million pricks, so it got buffed. The "Shed Armor" Havent tested tusk yet
Twau was a op stand but just because it was op it got nerfed into the ground like it doesn’t have that much moves and now with the knife nerfs it just feels like there isn’t much options for it when you don’t have knife or revolver I think twau needs more moves

Rebinding skills on Spin breaks the keybinds somehow, might be the same for Vamp and Hamon.
on hamon you can't charge it whilst your stand is out, I don't know if this is intentional or not.

All of it's damage came from it's ability to do true m1s, it won't be as good as it was pre update.

Its so good seeing these updates since this time last year we were praying for an update unsure of what to get
hermit purple used to be able to confirm vine trap 2 after double vine slap so they decreased the stun on the second hit
Don't use the new tusk auto combo, but here it is: Wormhole uppercut --> Wormhole nails --> Beatdown --> Wormhole uppercut --> Wormhole nails --> Eye gouge --> Barrage --> Jaw breaker.
I might be a bit late on this and 78 other people might have already commented about this but, they buffed Tusk act 4, way too much. The main part of the buff that breaks the game is that after wormhole uppercut finishes and you get up, you are stunned for an eternity. Paired with wormhole uppercut now activating at light speed, this just means every 10 seconds you get an eye gouge, barrage and jaw breaker. They basically just made King Crimson impale cheese 2.0. This is just stupid and I hope it gets changed.
I hope to god it was like a typo or smth and they thought they patched it out. Cause if no one saw this while testing then we have 0 hope lol.
Ta4 is the new cmoon... Nails now have absurd stun and can combo into wormhole uppercut, and wormhole uppercut can now combo into beat down. Basically, you press T and X while hovering over someone's character, they don't press F, they lose 3/4 of their hp to the new "tusk auto combo"
Since the stone free update Uzu has shown a new animation and sfx style that is stunning

not gonna lie if you ever need content im curious for how much hell itd be to win 1v1s only using aerosmith's passive damage when touching another player. youd be a genuine deity to pull it off though.
Wormhole Uppercut is pretty good now! The player goes in and out of the wormhole in a fraction of a second, so its much easier to land because the opponent needs really good reaction time.

Its unreactable in 2s and gives you a free barrage. Then you just spam nails, run till the cd is back and spam it all over again.
Well, tusk is broken rn. The uppercut is pratically unreactable and its got so much stun that u can just walk up to the opponent and barrage them, since they also get stand crashed.
im more amazed on how much personality the bd cd has in its animation (or in other words, how much is going on in the bd by itself if ''personality'' is not the right word for it)
10:04 I think Uzu meant the stun on the second hit of Double Vine Slaps and it used to have a knockback too.
You may have figured this out, but the hp double vine slap stun was probably referring to the second slap

Double vine slap’s second hit back then apparently combo’d into vine trap 2. So basically they removed the combo of double vine slap into vine trap 2.

For the hermit purple thing, vine slap has two hits and both hits have stun so it means that the move has less stun since you only really get fully stunned by the second, the first stun just prevents you from attacking after you get hit by the move so you can't punish hermit purple players for doing a move
The reason Time Skip puts Time Stop on cooldown now was because of people essentially abusing it to teleport into the air so that their TS couldn't be cancelled. And it was really annoying since people could just do teleport into the air above you so that they'd be sitting on you once time had stopped.

The keybind reworked should be actually reverted, it literally gave me more problems than before.
My keybinds are set in a way where none of my stand skills are bounded on top of the spec skill keybinds, but for some reason some of my moves will either be swapped back to default whenever my boxing gloves are out while my stand is ALSO out.
As well as some of my moves not even coming out until I put the boxing gloves away, despite being completely original keybinds. My Crazy Diamond boxing key layout simply doesn’t work.
But hilariously enough, that is pretty much NOTHING compared to whatever the hell happened to Anubis pluck.
My LMB’s when my pluck is out no longer uses the stand LMB and instead switches to the regular pluck LMB’s.
Ironically, some of my pluck keybinds only work correctly AFTER hiding my stand away, which for some reason is the exact opposite situation than my Crazy Diamond boxing situation.
Again, none of my stand keybinds overlap with my spec keybinds, however the keybind update is literally a buggy mess and should just be reverted as a whole to the previous version.
I honestly don’t know why they’d have to change something that had no problems to begin with.
They could of added a skin for Shinning Saphire, by taking the Shinning Saphire Requiem into a skin.

I just gotta say, cd is SUPER op, u have so many dmg options, combo options and a low cd counter that gives u rage… the one homing bullet is an unavoidable gb and the crazy wall is almost jawbreaker 2.0
well the keybind update make that so if you switch spin moves to eachother you just can't use the moves (i found this when i'm changing my ta4 spin skill tree)
The second stun is the dtun after the second hit since it was a bit long considering how good it was
the keybind change also broke switching keybinds on vampire. you just can't do it anymore. i dont know if it's like that for other specs too but my stand seem to function fine
i think the idea of rework the worlds road roller its good but i think it should be a bit like bites the dust because if it turns into a parriable grab/beatdown its basically a nerf since you will get punished for missing it or getting parried and you wont be able to confirm it off a vampire freeze the idea is it works like bites the dust when you can run away from it but its cancellable like it is right now so you cant just barrage and make half of someones hp dissapear
Anubis is kinda broken right now, if you have pluck. Before this update, you could use the pluck moves and bind them to any key you wanted, even if you didnt have the pluck sword item on. But now, even if you change the binds, pluck moves only come out as their original key. For example, if you have pierce strike bound as C, the little tornado thing comes out instead of what you wanted, even if theres no other move bound to that key. Same with all the others. Hopefully this makes sense. If not I can show you, just lmk here on yt.
Really cool but i'll miss old cd, not sure if they Ever patched this but old wall used to give s for a second after You use the wall so You could just Dodge all of killer Queens detonations
They should make pluck get defense when you gain tempo, and they either need to make the sword do more damage, do the same damage as your stand, or make tempo give enough defense and damage to warrant using it even existing. Pluck is cool but missing half my health cause of no defense sucks
hermit purple changes mean they reduced the stun on the second hit of vine slap and removed the hyper armor and the knockback on the move, as a hermit purple main (vamp box) myself tbh this doesnt change a lot u can still true combo 1 into 2 and then u use vine slap, atleast now its not a "free combo starter" anymore
act 4's wormhole uppercut comes out at an unreactable speed now and has stun at the end, allowing a free barrage...
As a rhcp main those changes kind of scare me, rhcp did not really need to be tweaked, maybe the pinky slash wind up if only? But all these changes seem overturned to me, and if electric discharge is faster windup aswell then it might be able to combo extend with the electrify m1s :/ which ofc, if going to make it a strong stand, but then I fear nerfs that just make the stand worse than it was before the changes.
if anyone tries to save spec moves onto a new key, u need a spec weapon like boxing gloves to use... BUT UMBRELLA IS EXEMPTED! vamp is just messed with nearly every update and tbh its worse than umbrella not m1'ing, AT THE SAME TIME - using boxing gloves resets your stands key binds

Stand style jokes aside, the keybind change is an absolute lifesaver for builds like cd pluck, because there are more moves than binds

what i assume the purple hurmit nerf is saying is basically the stun from the 2nd vine slap doesn't stun anymore

Did some testing because i have a bunch of these stands on alts, heres what I got:
"2s Global CD" to timeskip makes it so that you HAVE to get block break to confirm a timestop. Im not happy with this change at all, it made TS super hard to land. But it makes the lives of other non TS stand users lives better so im not complaining
- After testing, "Gravitational Shifts" Range is FUCKING ABSURD. You can hit people from across the solar system.
- RHCP is pretty good now, It was fine before but its now very strong.
- TWAU still was spammable with the knives cooldowon getting nerfd by 1 second previously. It still does the samage damage but less stun. You'll take the damgae but knives cant extend combos anymore. They had a small amount of stun originally.
- The second stun on Double "vine slap" broke block, and if you were close you could true combo "Grapple 1" off of it. So that no longer exists
- Silver Chariot can pull you in and use million pricks, so it got buffed. The "Shed Armor"

Twau was a op stand but just because it was op it got nerfed into the ground like it doesn’t have that much moves and now with the knife nerfs it just feels like there isn’t much options for it when you don’t have knife or revolver I think twau needs more moves

the double vine slap change basically means the second hit doesnt have enough stun to get off vinetrap 2 before the foe can block as well as barrage ending the move now also vinetrap overall has much less stun to where you really cant combo with it now so
Double vine slap into vinetrap 2 was never true. It was just a small window of blocking.
Oke we have a problem. Hamon ain't working properly now because of the changes. I dont know of they already fixed it or not and im to lazy to check right now. Hope it gets fixed
