I died with 99 coins on freezeflame. I was like fuck this I am doing this as the last star in the game. Then I played sea slide galaxy and died with all coins, and I was like nevermind then. Reached 120 stars today. Got those two purple comets as the last ones
I don't think I can count the times I died trying to get the coins in the Luigi-shaped level, but I remember that, despite all the frustrations, I kept trying just because of how much I loved this theme.
It truly says something about the fact that if you enjoy a game enough, its frustrating difficulty diminishes. I adore the music, aesthetic, and physics engine in Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, so even when things got tough, I still enjoyed myself, and because of that, I fully finished both games 100%.
I just replayed Luigi's pruple coin mission... I truly don't understand how I found that level hard. Now the purple coins of Battlerock galaxy and Dreadnought galaxy is where the real challenge is.
Not only was this one of my top favorite soundtracks in Mario galaxy, but this music gave me the determination to complete the most challenging purple coin mission for me, the ULTIMATE gauntlet to test my skill in collecting purple objects.. Luigi’s Purple Coins
