It depends. Coz my grandma was a responsible hardworking one. She really wakes up early and doesn't sleep at noon or afternoon. I think rich grandma's sleep more.
It's not that old people don't sleep, it's just that they go to bed at 9 - 11 so they wake up before sunrise. If anything, my parents sleep at least the full 7 hours every day.
I'm not sure if they sleep less but my experience with the old people in my life is that they tend to go to bed earlier but are always awake by the time I get out of bed in the morning.
