Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing Kencko, an instant organic smoothie delivery service. We're big fans of all the different types of smoothie delivery services out there - from Daily Harvest to Splendid Spoon. Now that freeze-dried "instant" smoothies are becoming more popular, we've been on the hunt for the best option. From Vejo to TUSOL, we've tried a ton. Kencko really impressed us. They make it super simple to get matched up to the ingredients that will best fit your needs by having you take a quiz before ordering. The coolest part is they give you a free mixer bottle in your first box :).
Even though these are freeze-dried, once mixed in water and shaken, they actually taste almost exactly like a regular smoothie (just a little less thick).

My husband and I love these shakes. We order the 60 pack monthly box. Faves are Jade, yellow, crimson, and beets. Really recommend using simply brand vanilla almond milk with them.

For the ones that are compatible with milk I like to mix them with banana almond breeze (it’s the blue diamond almond breeze brand that says “blended with real bananas” in the cold milk section of my grocery) it has just enough sweetness without being overpowering! And the texture is thicker so it feels like a real smoothie without all the extra effort of adding fresh fruit 😋

The Ambers is really good with Vanilla Ripple milk. It's so good!
At first taste I thought they were nasty. I love sweet stuff and these were just not it (I was expecting Jamba Juice type smoothie). However now that I drink them with ice cold apple juice instead of water, I LOVE THEM! Some of them I don't buy (any that need to be mixed with milk since I'm not a milk fan, and any with beets since I hate beets), but the rest of them are delicious - with apple juice of course! The scarlets are the only ones I'm on the fence about since they are tomato based. They taste like spicy V8 juice, which is ok but not something I drink very often. I am going to try and put them into some tomato sauce for spaghetti to get rid of the ones that I have.
Are these smoothies making a difference in your health? Thinking about adding this to my other smoothie sub
Would be cool if u can put the lid in freezer and be able to mix it up to frozen to make it really feel like a smoothie.
My box arrives today. I most likely will mix with my plant protein and ice in the blender.

I tried it. Some flavors are great. Some are disgusting. I strongly suggest you are super picky at the beginning (pick ones that you know you’ll like) and try the others one or two per month. Otherwise you end up with several packets that you end up throwing away.
Use a little Stevia
Why don’t you use Almond milk or soy milk? Just asking
