I remember when I first played the game it was not clear to me you could add the cards anywhere in your hand and I thought you could only play cards from one end or the other. Needless to say I was amazed how people were playing cards so easily and I was sure everyone was cheating… needless to say when I finally learned how to play correctly it really helped… however I have only played it once since learning that :)
Yes, I think the rules for hand management - the orientation of cards, adding and playing them are quite unintuitive. The game works well but I can't think of another that makes those restrictions.
