The Cube movement system is borrowed from their game Deadzone which, now in its 3rd edition is very well-established. and Flashpoint works as a simplified version of Deadzone with the Halo theme. They’re using the phrase Deadzone Game Engine so maybe we’ll see other games with the same core rules.

It’s also hard to see the details on the bare blue and red plastic as it has a glossy appearance, it’s only when you give it a matte spray that you start to see it all. Hopefully the quality continues or even improves as the game goes on.

I think I got the picture from Mantic's Facebook page, so thanks for sharing it. If you have a website or contact info for 3D printing I can put it is the Description for you. What was the Nottingham event like?

@ the event was good, smaller turn out than I expected as there was space for 100 and on the Saturday I was 18th out of 22, I heard the Sunday was slightly busier, very cold so probably put people off. Yeah I uploaded my design to Cults3D but since then another one has been added so there is plenty of variety to suit people’s preferences etc. Got an adapter as seen in one of the images that is useful when playing with uniquely painted minis with the same bases, sip it on and you have a red and blue team etc. Always trying to think what people will need so if you have thought of something that would be useful or would improve the game let me know and I’ll make it.

Well, that would’ve been exactly the tone of the follow-up had they not orchestrated a series of tragic, whining and generally bullshit messages about what a bad person I am for showing a competitor’s product! It’s a shame because we already had footage of World skateboard Freestyle Champion Isamu Yamamoto, whose really rather good on free skates, I can tell you. Do please tell JMK Ride I said so.

We’ve got the focus-pulls and the punch-ins now, but we just cant get the quality of presenters we used to have. 😉

@@StudioWatchwolf I'd reccomend it if you like fast skirmish games. I've not picked a copy up myself yet but I have played a friend's coy a few times now and it's pretty good!

That’s the first games video we made, using just one smartphone camera and two shots for each scene, it was very tightly scripted and took over a week to make! I’m very glad you liked it. 😃

People have replied to this video saying “NO! That was ten years ago! You must use Mantic mini.s now, or else.” But I met up with the Great Ronnie (as anyone easily can by simply visiting the place) and he was remarkably chilled about the whole thing. And I think he worked for GW around 2nd edition so you could probably get an authentic game out of him!
