She declared herself 'queen of the house' as soon a we brought her home & ried to dominate the 2 American Shorthairs already living there.
I have one, I've been telling him to give me a kiss on the cheek for weeks but he wouldn't. Then, one day he gets close to my face and slams his mouth on my cheek with full force. The best kiss I ever had, even though it hurt a little.

Had a Siamese for about 12 years from kitten hood. He was one of my closest companions threw my teen years, clear threw early adulthood. We were inseparable most of the time. He died in my arms many years ago. I miss his and my other cats company quite a bit. And have over the years. They were a great pack. Living in a small studio apartment now, with no pets. It sucks.
Yeah. My family had one one time who we left with some friends of ours while we went on vacation. He apparently hated it at their house and one night he escaped from there and found his way back to our house. It would have been about a five mile journey for him and he had to cross the freeway. To this day we still don’t know how he did it. But the morning after we got home from vacation there he was meowing at our back door.
LOL HAHAHA my mom kinda restricted our cat to go out frequently because she said the cat does not know how to cross the roads. being good at crossing streets is actually a really good characteristic
Black cats and Siamese cat pairs appear to be a thing. We have a few followers that have the same combo. Momo is the exact same. Loves to be in the company of people but won't cuddle up on us.
Momo Siamese Yep. And my black cat is the cuddler. I have had 2 black cats and they were both very cuddly, very chill almost like marshmallows, clumsy too, but fierce if a stray was outside nearby. Siamese gets very chill if company is over. Seems more social if strangers are around like she is performing almost. Very odd.
None of our cats are really social with strangers. Alice, the black one, used to be extremely independent and would never cuddle. Now as she's getting older she has become the most cuddly of all our cats. It's quite remarkable actually.
My first Siamese turned into a friend, a travel companion, an arbiter of relationships, a birthing coach, an extraordinary nanny, a teacher of how to catch a mouse to all of our cats and Dobermans and ultimately the Grand Dame of the household. Jenny had the best and loudest purr ever right to the end. She was 24 when l needed to put her down because of pretty extensive breast cancer. She passed in my arms, purring the entire time. She slept in my armpit every night. When my son was born she slept under his bassinet and would hear him wake before l could. She would wake me up, usually by slapping my face with her paw. Once she was convinced that all of the baby's needs were met, she would climb into my armpit and sleep, at least long enough to know l was asleep. 24 years we were together. She was irreplaceable. Many years later, a two year old neutured male seal point came into my life and what a joy he was. It was like he knew my health was poor. I used a wheelchair by then because of neuromuscular deficits but it didn't bother him. He was very protective of me. His extraordinary behavior rivaled my first Siamese. He got to know our neighbors and made his rounds several nights a week. He would go into these homes for playtime, a little food or treats and to give and get love and adoration. Unfortunately, his life was cut short due to a spinal tumor and l lost him far too young. He would still be with me if not for that. All of the neighbors made condolence calls complete with Rainbow Bridge sympathy cards. That was the extent of love he shared. Now l am searching for another Siamese. The love they give is endless and expressed in so many ways. While both of my Siamese ate very good cat foods in various forms, their favorite foods were whatever l was eating - vegetables, mashed or baked potatoes, meat, fish, chicken, ham, stew, soup, deserts of all kinds. Both of my Siamese liked being able to eat from a fork or spoon so we usually shared food at mealtime. I love dogs but can no longer care for them. I have had many non-Siamese cats including the fur baby l have now. But it is such a special relationship with a Siamese. They are extraordinarily smart but also exceptionally intuitive and capable of providing emotional support when needed, more than any other breed of cat. Siamese cats are not our pets; they are our friends and family and are that way forever.
I had a siamese cat who taught me how to play fetch. I fetched everything for her. Also she would fetch bottle caps. Just like a dog. We played for hours. She was a siamese retriever. RIP Meeka

People always ask why I want Siamese cats. Duh, it's like getting a cat, a dog and a monkey all in one. They look so regal, they talk, they are so goofy and they have huge personalities. My Milo is currently running around yelling about something. He's a gorgeous Seal point with slightly crossed blue eyes. I also have a lilac point female who talks constantly. They're just amazing cats. Not saying my tiny panther (really large black kitty that doesn't like being called large) or is siamese mix aren't amazing, just that the 2 Siamese are the most interesting.
I have a Siamese male cat. He was given to me by my aunt. I named him Lovi (short for Lovemir) cause he's so sweet. When I first met him, we was frightened and very anxious to the point that he would hiss at me and scratch me. It took a week before he started to open to me. Months later, he's being so clingy, talkative, playful and he likes to sleep by my side. He's the sweetest and he looks cute. He's now 5 months old and my life has been more colorful when he came into my life ♥️
My snowshoe siamese was the toughest most motherly animal you'd ever meet. I watched her scare away animals 10x her size to protect her family. That little kitty scared off german shepherds! Siamese have huge spirits!
My siamese cat came out of nowhere but we're taking care of her! She's actually 9 years old this year, quite old for a cat but i m glad she's still around despite being demanding sometimes😂😂
Some kitties can live double that age. Many easily get to 20. I’ve seen two get up to the 30s. The oldest cat to ever live was creme puff at 38 years old.
Yes, they are gorgeous and extremely loving with an occasional aloofness thrown in for good measure. I have had the pleasure of 1 male and 4 females Siamese kitty cats over the years as being part of what was once my family. They are also in my experience quite clever and very good at training their human companions.
Nice video, beautiful Siamese kitty-cat. However, there are more than Chocolate Tips (points), such as: Seal Point, Blue Point, Chocolate Point, Lilac Point, Flame Point and Tortie Point. I prefer a Lilac point, but love all cats, whether they be Siamese or not! Thank you for the upload!
Hi thank you so much for leaving a comment. I am aware of all the other point types but I think chocolate tips are the most common and well known amongst most people. I would love a lilac at one stage though, I think they are gorgeous.
@@fizayusufzai That's great! I had a Lilac Point named "Olivia" from 1983 until her passing at Christmas time in 1995! She loved to ride in the car with me! I never had to put her in her carrier! We moved to Boston in 1984. Then went to Tucson, AZ in 1985 via car! People passing us on the interstate would always honk at me and point to "Olivia" if she was in the back window, and just give me a great big smile! I still miss her very much!
I've had 4 Siamese cats over the years. The first was my beloved Greta. She made me a lifelong cat lover. Been gone since 2008 and I still miss her. I will always have at least one meezer in my cat family.
I am only 19 but my parents had Siamese cats while I was born, they would be in my crib when I was a baby sleeping with me and everything. My little buddy Pompeii made me a lifelong cat lover. After that my family and I have had nothing but Siamese cats and it’s been one hell of a ride.

Siamese are so special. Mine wants to play and spend time with me 24h/24. I also taught him to walk on a leash and he enjoys so much exploring green areas
An old neighbor of mine used to have a Siamese Cat😺 And That it was just so very loving & playful towards me and my own Tuxedo Cat That I used to have growing up !!!!!
I have a Siamese snowshoe and he plays fetch, will bring the toy back for over a hour straight lol. He also insists on being little spoon, even puts his head on the same pillow as mine. In fact, if hes not being little spoon he has to have his head propped on some kind of pillow, like a water bottle or remote. I even bought him a dolls pillow and he uses it. And he follows me around exactly like a dog does, and is harness trained outside. I really wanted a dog but am unable to care for a dog because of a MVA, my Siamese was the best thing I ever found in the shelter. I have 2 other cats and they're just normal cats lol they are aloof.
Dear Momo Siamese! Thank you for sharing this video! Yes, you are right! We are so adorable! We are super playful! But I do not talk so much. Maybe because I am 3 months old? With love, Alpha The Siamese Cat

i have two 7 month old brothers and they are quickly trashing my house .. they eat EVERYTHING ...and did i mention they never shut up ..that said they are very lovable
My little Siamese is a rescue. Got him as a kitten from a Michigan rescue group and named him ‘Michi.’ Have had Siamese all my life and love the breed! :)
when i was young we had a blind siamese named Turkey. i would take him for walks and he would follow the sound of my jingling keys and catch/eat grasshoppers. i would pat my upper chest and he'd jump up/id catch him and put his front legs over my shoulder. we had a 2nd black/white cat [younger] named Bad Person cuz she kept hiding and attacking Turkey every chance she got.
I’ve had Siamese pure blood or a cross breed since 1983. Now handicapped and unable to have one. I miss them so much! My last 2, both made it to 17 years. Loved the conversations, the purr, and those beautiful eyes 🐾
On a hot summer day my Siamese cat sits in front of the Air Conditioning vents to cool off . In the winter he sits in front of the vents to stay warm . Very smart cat .
I had a seal point Siamese cat many years ago. Before the days when computers were commonly used, I had an electric typewriter. It suddenly started printing or making the sound of a typewriter going very fast. My cat was standing near it. The suddenness of the sounds caused him to act very oddly. The look in his eyes was as if he had gone mad, and he tilted his head to one side, and then started spinning around in the same spot, doing 180 degree leaps in circles. I think it was the funniest thing I ever saw a cat do.
I had one for over 20 yrs. Although their vocal behaviour can be rather overwhelming they are very smart, loving, loyal and totally empathic. Great family cat if you can spend the time & effort and respect their personality. In common they dont prosper well on their own.
Someone gave me a female Siamese cat last week. I’ve always been more of a Persian or Ragdoll cat lover. But my new girl is soooo sweet! She talks to me, likes to Eskimo kiss and if I leave the room, she looks for me. It’s almost like having dog- sorta! I’m so glad she was given to me.
Awww, she's adorable!:) I have a Siamese of my own(she's 8 years old now), and I adopted her for the majority of these listed reasons. I love my baby!:)
Siamese are the best. We had three when I was growing up.. Blue (Blue Point) and Sue (Chocolate Point) and Mat-Su (Seal Point) and they made life fun and perfect. Now I have a Black Siamese named Gary.
Many years ago I had a siamese crossed with something. He was totally black, had the raucous siamese miaow, and was the meanest cat on the block (literally) thanks to his early years being owned by the autistic brother of a mate of mine who handled him very roughly. He was called Sandshoes, named after my mate whose family name was Sanchez. He attacked everyone in the family apart from my Mum, because he knew she was his provider. The neighbourhood dogs would cross the street to go past our house and our neighbour complained several times about him attacking their dogs. We had some renovations done once and he attacked the poor guy who was tiling our roof, then stole the chicken sandwiches out of his ute (pickup). A vet said that the best thing he could do was put him down but my family would not hear of it. Over the years he mellowed, but all the fights he go into with other cats (god help them) took their toll and at about 15 years old he went into a decline. I had long moved out of home, and Mum and Dad rang one day to tell me he had curled up in his favourite possie and died. They were grief stricken. Anyone who doesn't love cats has never had one. RIP Sandshoes, you old black-strap, you crazy old licorice stick. They broke the mould when they made you.
Yes what you refer to are modern and traditional Siamese. The modern are the skinnier ones that you refer to while Momo is a traditional. I also prefer the traditional ones.
He's actually named after the Liverpool striker MO Salah because as a kitten he and actually now as well he loves playing with balls. So we thought a football player would suit him.

Siamese cats are the most beautiful and loveable cats
❤️
I have a Siamese male cat. He was given to me by my aunt. I named him Lovi (short for Lovemir) cause he's so sweet. When I first met him, we was frightened and very anxious to the point that he would hiss at me and scratch me. It took a week before he started to open to me. Months later, he's being so clingy, talkative, playful and he likes to sleep by my side. He's the sweetest and he looks cute. He's now 5 months old and my life has been more colorful when he came into my life ♥️
I have a flame point Siamese and he's the sweetest thing ever. I love him and so glad I adopted him.
I took home a Siamese one freezing winter night. He was wonderful ❤️.
I love the picture on the thumbnail. Momo is like Hmmmm.
I have a snowshoe siamese since he was 7 days old. His Mommy abandoned him. He fluffy, big, and lovable. He talks all night and day.
My snowshoe siamese was the toughest most motherly animal you'd ever meet. I watched her scare away animals 10x her size to protect her family. That little kitty scared off german shepherds! Siamese have huge spirits!
I have two, I love them so much, very intelligent cats! And talking the whole day!
They're pretty cats. I've had Siamese before and are just so much fun
My Siamese talks when she wants something or is protesting the vet visit
Definitely chatty 😅 and playful. And curious. And very smart
Absolutely gorgeous! And the black cat, too.
My cats on average all make it to 16-18. Never been fortunate enough to have one live up to 20.
Yes, they are gorgeous and extremely loving with an occasional aloofness thrown in for good measure.
I have had the pleasure of 1 male and 4 females Siamese kitty cats over the years as being part of what was once my family.
They are also in my experience quite clever and very good at training their human companions.
They are so intelligent. I trained mine to use the toilet. No litter box in the house now for seven years!
Jinxy cat jinxy cat i love you.
Cats really are smart
I'm in the process of training my four month sealpoint kitten to use the toilet 🪠
Over the years I have had 6 Siamese both male and female. All were wonderful. Beautiful, smart, affectionate, best cats ever.
I would love a lilac at one stage though, I think they are gorgeous.
usmale 49 - I didn’t realize there were so many different points in the breed. Our is a flame point.
Yes it's quite amazing! Imagine having one of each!
I have lilac point Siamese twins. They're sooo pretty and loving !!!! They look like angels ❤️❤️❤️
Reason: they're funny
Me on an interview sofa: Comedy... Is subjective Momo.
We find him funny therefore he is funny 🤣
Imma adopt a siamese after this covid-19 total lock down
You won't regret it!
OMG YOU REPLIED
BEST DAY EVER
Bye the im actually a girl im using brother’s account
Simas cats are my dream cat!!!!🐈🐈🐈
I had cats since I was a kid, and many different breeds, my favorite it siamese they are so fun, and loving
My Siamese jumped when the meowing started. Siamese are so loving and enjoy being the center of attention.
He unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago and I swear there was no greater connection between me and that cat. After that my family and I have had nothing but Siamese cats and it’s been one hell of a ride.
@@jxvito7144 You are blessed. My lifelong connection was with my Greta. Best pet ever. Best friend ever. I've had other Siamese. But there will never be another Greta.
Keyth Danielsen I know exactly how you feel. I’ve also had and still do have other Siamese, and I can 100 percent agree with you there’s nothing like that one that you just click with. They really are something special. I bet Greta was a wonderful a cat, may she rest easy.
@@jxvito7144 she's at the rainbow bridge waiting to be reunited
Keyth Danielsen 😭😭😭
A friend rescued 5 meezers that she found abandoned and orphaned in the hollow of a huge oak treee in a wooded area in the center of San Antonio and I end up with one whom I named Jr. and who is a blue cross eyed flame point and recently celebrated his 1st birthday and myself just turning 59 who has never ever had a cat , I am over the moon with Jr.’s antics , carisma and loving nature !!!! Hope that God will bless me with another 59 yrs so I can enjoy this lil’ feller !!!
my family has always had siamese cats so a year before i was born my moms two siamese had a litter and then ive had my cat ever since. and he is just the most precious siamese i could ever know. we even still have the rest of the litter just with different family members. siamese are the best
That's so awesome!
I have genuinely never felt so adored to a cat until I heard the first one :')
So adorable
Siamese are so special. Mine wants to play and spend time with me 24h/24. I also taught him to walk on a leash and he enjoys so much exploring green areas
Beautiful. Thank you
My Siamese cat makes a sound like little bells ringing when she meows.
An old neighbor of mine used to have a Siamese Cat😺 And That it was just so very loving & playful towards me and my own Tuxedo Cat That I used to have growing up !!!!!
Great video! Beautiful kitty too!
So true
I just adopted a 3 month old Siamese kitten and he is the best companion anyone could ask for! Super loving and playful! 🐱❤️
Mine scared the shit outta my mom one night she meowed and sounded like a crying baby
My boy is my life! I’ve never found a better breed to love! They are very empathetic and desire love!
Dear Momo Siamese!
Thank you for sharing this video!
Yes, you are right! We are so adorable! We are super playful! But I do not talk so much. Maybe because I am 3 months old?
With love,
Alpha The Siamese Cat
Such beautiful coloured coat!!!
I'm sure he's not full blood, but I found one on the side of the road and he took to me as soon as we got home. Been three days now, and little guy has taken over.....love him!
I have 5 Siamese cats, I love them so much. They’re the sweetest things!
This is purrrrrrr~fect I shall show this to my mom!
I am getting a Siamese kitten.
Lucky
I got one too
i have two 7 month old brothers and they are quickly trashing my house .. they eat EVERYTHING ...and did i mention they never shut up ..that said they are very lovable
@@jali898 why would you say that here
@@uckubungie isn't this a post about owning a siamese .???..
I got a Siamese and it's the best cat ever she is all of the good things this video says
My little Siamese is a rescue. Got him as a kitten from a Michigan rescue group and named him ‘Michi.’ Have had Siamese all my life and love the breed! :)
Best breed ever! I currently have 3.
Got a Siamese cat 6 months ago. Best thing I,ve ever done.
I had a Siamese named Naku but he died about a year ago so now I have a Balinese names Kiki who is a longhair Siamese. They are such great cats!
when i was young we had a blind siamese named Turkey. i would take him for walks and he would follow the sound of my jingling keys and catch/eat grasshoppers. i would pat my upper chest and he'd jump up/id catch him and put his front legs over my shoulder. we had a 2nd black/white cat [younger] named Bad Person cuz she kept hiding and attacking Turkey every chance she got.
Most loyal cat breed and best temperament. It's basically a dog!
True except better 😜
@@MomoSiamese I stand corrected! The best!
Έτσι ακριβώς. Τυχερακια!!!!!!!!
I’ve had labs and Siamese.. but these cats kick dogs out of the ballpark because they’re perfect 🥰
Stelios Kamakaris Blasphemy!
The best cat I ever had was Jake, the Siamese cat. I had him for 18 years. I still miss him.
It's always so difficult when one loses a beloved pet! Especially a kitty-cat!
@Eric Miret Thank you
@@usmale4915 Thank you
@@joannekloske9004 You're very welcome!
The talking bit is rightfully mentioned twice - Their meowings are so cute!
One thing I learned about my Siamese cat is if she doesn’t get the attention she wants, she’ll wreck the house until she does. I love her tho 😭
Thank you so much for the help! my parents are getting me one!
I have a snowshoe and they're VERY similar. Mine is more chirpy-talky though lol. Still big bright blue beautiful eyes and sweet nature
I have a seal point Ziggy Stardust and I don't know how to exist without him
i have a torti point siamese, and she’s the funniest cat ever!
I had one for over 20 yrs. Although their vocal behaviour can be rather overwhelming they are very smart, loving, loyal and totally empathic. Great family cat if you can spend the time & effort and respect their personality. In common they dont prosper well on their own.
I love Siamese cats! I love their talkativeness and their unique meows! I will definitely adopt one someday! 💖💖💖
I have a siamese cat :)! They are soo talkative!
So cute 😆
Ikr
Love them
My sister has a Siamese cat. Sassy doesn’t meow much but she’s pretty cool. She’s playful and good at catching mice.
I have one. Definitely what kept me sane during the Covid house lockdown
Glad you enjoyed the video.
I absolutely adore Siamese cats! I've had 2 boys so far & they stole my heart. 💙💙
Siamese are so special aren't they?
@@MomoSiamese indeed! 💙💙💙💙
I've adopted a Siamese a year before thia video Shes always so noisy but so cute
A very amusing breed
ow, this also reminds me of my auntie's siamese cat. He is sooo sweet as in.
Siamese are the best. We had three when I was growing up.. Blue (Blue Point) and Sue (Chocolate Point) and Mat-Su (Seal Point) and they made life fun and perfect. Now I have a Black Siamese named Gary.
mine meows a lot for treats its so cute and squeaky
Beautiful eyes and their color markings. 😹😹😹😹
So beautiful, so elegant
I have the flame point variety. They're just as goofy as the black and tan ones. XD
I love that this is one of the cobby Siamese, rather than the triangle-headed skinny variety that used to be so popular.
Yes what you refer to are modern and traditional Siamese. The modern are the skinnier ones that you refer to while Momo is a traditional. I also prefer the traditional ones.
@@MomoSiamese "Momo" is a cool name for your cat. That's Japanese for Peach, right? So cute!
He's actually named after the Liverpool striker MO Salah because as a kitten he and actually now as well he loves playing with balls. So we thought a football player would suit him.
@@MomoSiamese Even better! I'm a football fan myself. Don't hate me, I really wanted Croatia to win in 2018... :-(
Do you ever make a goal with your hands to see how good his aim is?
Every time a video shows a cat up-close to the camera, I get a phantom feeling of whiskers tickling my face.
I immediately start talking in my baby voice 😂 Can't help it.
Siamese are very chatty. As you can tell i'm a cat fan. Black cats are so beautiful. Marble eyes that shine in the dark.
Black cats are amazing too! Did you see our reasons to adopt a black cat video as well?
