Love this video. I got This kit about two years ago now for Christmas, I struggled with the armature and then no matter how careful I was, I kept snapping needles whilst felting the armature, as I kept catching the wire . Subsequently he’s been back in the box in the attic since then. I’ve done lots of other projects which have worked out really well. I must try with him again, as it put me off working with armature since. Lovely to see yours finished. ❤
I did a Romeo rabbit just before Christmas and he turned out super cute, I’ve also done the hedgehog, but I purchased steiff spike cloth for the body, I just sewed it on and hid the stitches with a little soft cream wool and made my own nose. I made it for my mother because she has a family of them that live in her hog hotel at the bottom of her garden, they will take food from her hand. I’ve made a few of their kits now, and have some new kits I got for Christmas yet to make. Can’t wait to start on them.
Lovely work he turned out so handsome. I have the Fabian Fox but haven't made it yet as I have other projects I need to finish first. I was surprised the instructions were in a beautiful full color book and looked easy to understand. I hope I do as good a job on my fox as you did on your rabbit. Thanks for the tutorial. I have to say I did laugh when your family said he was looking at them with those large eyes.
I've done Fabian fox too, here's that video, just use or strengthen the wire as it's not that strong, hope it goes well xruclips.net/video/81sCirComlg/видео.html
Omg !!!!!! Iv been after Romeo for ages , but didn’t think I’d do him justice , I love him , I’m definitely going to buy him now , the squirrel 🐿 looks gorgeous too don’t you think? , all their kits look great thank you for this video ❤️❤️
The kits are excellent, although I've only done one, I really enjoyed Romeo, lovely colours, definitely recommend, good luck with yours and thanks for watching x
Good job. There was no instructions on the tail! Your's is really cute. The body of mine is too tall and I followed their measurements. Not enough core wool. I really think this kit is for an experienced filter. Legs took some work to figure out. I think their wire is too soft for him to stand. I'll make it work just think instructions should be reworked. Great packaging. I'm intermediate as a felter. Still learning.
Their wire supplied is definitely too soft, think I mentioned that, having some experience will help but it's good to push yourself, hope you finish it OK xx
Hi Phiippa, I finished my Romeo Rabbit just before christmas. He looks a bit different to yours but still very cute. I was really pleased with the way he turned out. I've not done any whiskers for him yet.
That's handy, watch my whiskers video for ideas, I really liked him too and I've still got wool left over, I'm definitely going to try another kit, thanks for watching x
I got the fox kit from world of wool Christmas 2019 because I wanted to try needle felting and I loved it! Mine didn’t turn out quite the same but I was still pleased with the results and it was my first time! Be interesting to see how much I’ve improved a year later and doing it again :D
That's quite a kit for first time, well done, my rabbit wasn't the same as the picture but he was still lovely to me. Yes it would be interesting to see your progress, I think we learn so much with each felt, literally every felt we improve a little bit, thanks for watching x
How long did it take you to make Phillipa? Someone has asked me to make up their Romeo kit for them and I'm trying to estimate how long it would take me before I agree to commit myself. Im quite new to felting but seem to be advancing quickly and I appreciate that you are an expert but at least your time will be an "at least" time for me!
I would definitely say 8 hours as doing all the paws and face and ears takes time, I never do it in one day either as my hands hurt and my rabbit turned out larger than this one should be. Lots of anomalies but hopefully that helps xx
Thanks yes that helps a lot. BTW I'm a big fan of yours. Been felting since Feb and follow lots of your advice. Look forward to visiting the WOW shop in a couple of weeks after seeing your visit as I have bought my wool online from them following your recommendation.
I'm going to try him next, I have a video on legs and another on horse hooves, they might help, legs are just practice, wrapping wool evenly and tight, hope it goes ok x
Oh my, he's handsome, well done. I'm going to have to get one of these for Easter 😊. Thank you 🙏
Oh yes, perfect Easter project! I really enjoyed making him x

Thank you, definitely have a thicker needle, say a 36 gauge, hold it softly and stab lightly, hope you manage to finish him, thanks for watching x

Thank you, Philippa!
Thanks x
Beautiful 🐰
Thank you! X
If only you could tell me how you get your stamp that shows felts by Philippa , I would be sooooo grateful
It was just from an Etsy shop x

Lovely!!
Thanks x
I’ve done Connie Chameleon. Great instructions and kit.
That's a really unusual one, glad it went well x
I’m just doing Sheldon sheep - I’m finding shaping the legs and feet difficult
I'm going to try him next, I have a video on legs and another on horse hooves, they might help, legs are just practice, wrapping wool evenly and tight, hope it goes ok x
Such a lot for the money!
I think it's good and I had wool left over x
Love him
Thanks! X
I enjoy your videos..softer music 🎶 would be good too♡
I have gradually learnt that over the years, my latest videos are much better, thanks for watching xx
@@feltsbyphilippa thank you for making them it's alot of work! I appreciate you!
I'm having really hard time assembling the wires
Use some tape to keep them together, black tape or sellotape might work x
