Hi Art, I have the benq sw270c and with the introduction of hdr in lightroom could you do a video demonstrating how to use this function with the benq sw270c, thanks

For BenQ SW line & PD line that is going to be limited. This is a feature for MiniLED and high luminance display at this point. A video relating to this, however, will come out for Apple XDR displays.

Thanks Art! I have a question though...
Why does it say "BT.1886 (HDR Video)" when BT.1886 is for SDR Video?
Shouldn't it say either "BT.1886 (SDR Video)" or "ST 2084 (HDR Video)"?
I'm mostly curious because of the conflicting language/bug whether that option is actually BT.1886 or ST 2084...

I have to find out from Calibrite why HDR was put in the program. HDR was not classified in the previous version.

Too bad this app Calibrite Profilier does not work with my X-Rite i1Display Pro device unless you are paying for update

Hi, I have MSI monitor that uses IPS quantum dot panel. Is calibrite display 123 suitable for calibrating? Or should I go for the expensive HL model? I am solely interested in calibrating my display for Photoshop purposes. Can you advise me on which one to choose?

Go with one of the HL. 123 cannot do the job

Hi Art, I have a question. I own a Color Checker Display Plus device. Can this tool be used to calibrate my laptop screen, which uses mini LED technology?

Yes and no. So yes, in the sense that it will work calibation-wise, but you won't get the best results, and many times, you won't get the full-color gamut of the display. No, in the sense that there's no direct MiniLED selection, and it will cause the issues as stated above.

So, does it also apply to laptops with OLED screens?
And how can I find out the peak brightness of my other laptop's screen, which uses an IPS display, using this tool, including the color gamut or color correction?

Hi, i followed all the steps, and on the ‘all patches - avg’ i got 7.2 with fail. Does that mean i have to do it again?

Yes I would do it again, but do realize that some display can't really be calibrated because of the panel limitation.
