Ford fiesta 2008 ignition problem transponder

I have an intermittent problem starting my car. Light flashes quickly and engine won't turn over. Wait a minute and it will start up fine. When engine light is not flashing quickly its fine.Cold engine or warm engine doesn't matter...frustrating!
