It was because of this video, i got the new sunroof panel and fiber glass seal holders from Andy, and the seal from golden area... thanks seth for the top notch review!
CRX from 87-91 are the best Hondas ever build , nice to drive easy to fix thats CRX. I love these Cars , I own 4 ED9 and one EE8. Nice Videos to look at , keep going to rebuild these Cars to keep them alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the best from Germany ! Best regards from Rudi
I use the cream all the time. My 2002 civic si still has the OEM seals. Almost 20 yrs and the seals have no cracks or dullness. I applied that cream at least once a yr or where needed.
O man, i just love that Car, very cool to see someone that respect a beatifull car like the Crx. Pure 90ts feeling, loving it, brings back memory's..Thanks for that and keep on doing it. Greats from The Netherlands 👊
He was waiting for feedback from me to make any necessary tweaks before beginning production. I give it sometime first quarter next year. Feel free to DM him for any inside scoop.
It took a year or so. The summer July heat sped up that process. It wasn’t a perfect fit from the get go, but was pretty decent. It raised slightly over time.
When I watched your videos, I wanted to make my own CRX better. Now mine is really good, but you have show level! Here in Finland it's really hard to get cheap parts for this car. I used to be interested in Mercedes-benz cars and you can find cheap parts for them here(Finland, germany..) .. CRX parts are 10x more expensive.
I went out and just bought the seal! One question. Am having the car repainted. Had to take off the rear sprayer and gasket which was painted on and bubbling all around. It disintegrated when I removed it. Besides the OEM, is there a rear sprayer nozzle you would recommend?
So glad mine has no Sunroof, Not that I wouldn't like one and there cool opening out over roof, just the rust issues when you have no Garage is a bonus. My mk1 is really bad around sunroof, have another complete one to go in with nos tray and decent panel but even roof inside edge rusting away. Nice Work and Great Colour CRX Black
Seth, thank you for that. Off topic, any recommendations on b series headers for ground clearance on CRXs? I will be using the innovative boxed frame crossmember. However, I still have concerns on clearance underneath. Any advice you have would be welcome thanks
@@crxseth Thanks for the response. But I believe I can get a new roof and weather stripping. But the hardware is what seems to be the problem. Know anyone that makes rails? Or is my hope to get some off a car that's being parted?
If you are working on Honda screws, definitely get yourself a JIS #2 screwdriver or some JIS #2 bits on Amazon. Honda screws are not phillips head screws, which is why typical US market screwdrivers don't fit them so well. The JIS #1 is perfect for Honda key fobs and the #3 is perfect for brake rotor screws (though you may want impact rated for that). Trust me you will notice the difference the first time you use one. Here is a demo video I saw that perfectly illustrates the difference: ruclips.net/video/FNiEOLcwWa4/видео.html
We're very interested in your channel! We has a brand new wall-mounted pressure washer to be released. We are thinking if we could have a chance to collaborate to this new product.Hope get your reply!
Hell yeah! Glad to see someone making OEM replacement parts AND fit great.
They sure are it’s almost like they have the original tooling.

That CRX will be “mint” by the time you finish 👍🏼. Great content as always. I need new seals all over as well 🤞🏽
Love this stuff. In the middle of a crx build with the old black widow body kit. Great cars!! Keep it coming.

Thank god someone is making insanely good CRX content, awesome work man!
Thanks for the kind words!
Fav video so far 💯

Wow the Crx is clean , great fix , loving the build
Awesome work Seth!
I enjoyed your video so much! Loved it
it's pretty easy to change the seal when the sunroof is opened outside instead of inside the car
Thanks for the review Seth. Did Brady give you an ETA on when the sunroof seal will drop? I will definitely need these for my CRXs.

Sou do Brasil. Da gosto de ver você fazendo esse tipo de trabalho tão caprichoso, tenho um Honda Civic 2004 Parabéns
@@crxseth Thanks Seth.
I have the seal. Does it matter which what it goes on?
Link for the seal
I have a NOS sunroof panel. Id love to get that seal.
How soon did the fiberglass panel start to shrink and show the weave texture? Was the fitment off from the very beginning when you installed it?

Thanks for sharing. These cars are getting scarce.
Im interested in a crx please let me know when you have one for sale
Very helpful video , how do you like the new seal so far? I curious-any leaks? I hope not. Keep up the good work!!!.
I don't drive the CRX much, so I haven't had a chance to get it out on the road since installing.

No, the OEM one is the only one I know of.
@@crxseth THANK YOU for the reply!
My glass top civic si NEEDS this. Know if thats the next prototype?
Since there aren’t very many glass tops out there, I highly doubt it.
7:20 That piece is the one that I told you bro
I see now. I would post a WTB in that group.

Wow 👌
Would you please elaborate on the wheels you're using on that build? And what the weight is? Thanks!
They are 15x6.5” +35mm Sprint Hart CP. I’m not sure of the weight.

@@estroumpis I honestly don’t have any experience with that. I am using an OEM manifold.
Geez $220 for a seal… nice vid bro
Do you know if removal is the same on civic si of same year?
I do not know but I imagine it’s nearly identical.
Restoring a CRX now. My main issue is rusted rails. Any advice?
I try to avoid rust. You have to cut it all out and weld in new metal.
@@crxseth Thanks for the response. But I believe I can get a new roof and weather stripping. But the hardware is what seems to be the problem. Know anyone that makes rails? Or is my hope to get some off a car that's being parted?
Where do you order sunroof and other crx parts from
Most things have to be purchased used.
Seal is highly sought after....I always had trouble with the slide stops breaking
FCจากthaiana
do you still sell crx stickers for the center light ?
Yes, I do.
Is that a factory black?
Yes. I gave the paint store the Flint Black Metallic paint code NH-526M
What’s the name of the cream?
Shin-Etsu
What panel is that?
Which one?
@@crxseth the one you put the seal on
@@crxseth looks like fiberglass?
@@jdmskunk2 The new one is just a used OEM panel.
@@jdmskunk2 The fiberglass one is from a guy named Luciano Oliveira from Portugal.
