All b-sides and random old stuff that she never usually performs.
This was performed on the Anti Tour and was not rehearsed but each night she did requests from fans of songs she had never sung live or ones she has not done for years. It wasn't a case of her going on unprepared, it was a case of on the spur of the moment.
As someone said this was part of the Anti-tour. Should check it out. All basically non singles or less popular songs, all the stuff that never gets performed. Was for the fans basically, and we loved it. Not nearly as rehearsed and professionally produced as her arena tours.
... and it was amazing. Many of the non-album tracks are just too good to be forgotten (like: Tightrope, Cherry Bomb, Do it Again, Made in Heaven, Stars) :-)
Kylie has a huge sense of humour about herself and the anti-tour was a really loose one where she played a lot of stuff she never normally sings like this.
Oh bless her! She only performed that once since 1992 - and that was it!! Added to the setlist that day, with loads of other songs she'd never performed live either lol In a career spanning 25 years (at the time) imagine how many songs she'd recorded - i'd forget the lyrics too!! lol

I love Anti Tour because it wasn't perfect but it was sooo real. No costumes, no big screens - just Kylie and her lesser-known songs (at least lesser-known for Kylie herself)
Entire album is worth of reaction. Specially because her vocals in the album are pretty much raw for the fact she recorded them at home by herself, and imo her best vocals to date among her studio albums.
She’s just got the number one spot in the UK. The announcement came up about 10 seconds into me watching this video announcing shes at number one. Congratulations too her.

She's so sweet that she makes every wtf moments fun. I think she already stated somewhere that she has problems remembering lyrics from songs she does not perform often, mostly because when that happens she didn't had proper time to rehearse, or added it in the last moment to the set list to please an specific audience. It's common see her using lyric/notes sheets on pocket shows or when performing songs from other artists, and she does it amazingly well as if she wasn't using it at all.

The reason she sings ‘baby’ like that is because that’s how the original guy sang it! Same with the brrr - at 2:17 in the ‘chairmen of the board’ original he trills his tongue to make the ‘brrr’ noise. It’s a common thing to do in jazz with brass instruments, and is probably also scat thing. She’s just emulating the original. 😊

Someone in the audience requested “Word Is Out” so in the break, she googled the lyrics, printed them out and sang the song from the print out. It was amazing. She is a true showgirl even when stripped back to the bare essentials.
This was a short tour for rarely performed songs, a show for fans, and she often changed songs night to night. But this was THE best show even with words on sheets ha!
She had a melancholic moment when she performed Bittersweet Goodbye. She opened with Magnetic Electric and I almost forgot Things Can Only Get Better as she left it till last
Audience participation is because the crowd were so loud and getting into it, she does it a lot for that reason not because she doesn’t know the words (but she did this time 😂)
This song wasn't on the set list of Anti-Tour, but Kylie did have the lyrics to most (all?) her songs to help her during the impromptu songs added during the night. Things like this adds to the concert for me, the realness and fun , it made me feel like I was watching a friend up their on the stage rather than a global megastar. As much as I love her huge tours like Aphrodite, Showgirl, etc, I think Anti-Tour is my fav concert, an intimate smaller show singing rarer (and some v special for me) songs.

She almost never performs material from Let's Get To It in her live shows. The whole format of this show allowed for having lyrics in front of her. I loved how improv this was. Very charming. In the context of when she performed this it definitely isn't a 'WTF' moment.

The only other singer I've ever seen using a song sheet during a live concert was Dionne Warwick. When touring the UK there was one song that was a massive hit here but not in the US. She didn't include it on the set list of any other leg of her tour. I found it disrespectful to her fans unprofessional and lazy that she couldn't be bothered to learn the lyrics of one more song. A real Diva moment- which is what Kylie is having here. Sure most artists these days use technology & have the lyrics available to view during live shows but is is less obtrusive. We can all have brain farts and forget lines! At least Kylie is singing live unlike some (BRITNEY) who short change their fans. I did see Whitney during a UK tour where she refused to sing One Moment In Time, a UK No1. Her excuse? It wasn't on her "new" album that she was promoting- the audience were NOT happy and she lost them from that point- they let her know their feelings and she grudgingly sang 2 lines of the song at x2 speed. I thought you were going diss our Kylie when I realised it was a WTF video. As others have said this was the Anti Tour which was a much smaller tour in her K25 year celebrating 25 years in the bizz. It was performances of songs that were rare or b-sides and album tracks or singles never really performed on a tour before. That's why she had the lyric sheets to help.
This was not a fail. As everyone said - this was the Anti Tour...was meant to be super casual, chilled and ALSO one thing to note, this song was not on the set list of the actual tour, pretty sure they added it at the last minute on the day. I think she killed it... in a good way.

Considering it was last minute and off the cuff, she didn't do to bad. She was just trying to remember lyrics to songs she hardly ever sings.
The Madonna review you did of her Eurovision performance had that very same smoke and mirrors. The original performance was terrible but her "team" went over it to cover the flaws. I've seen a lot of your videos and I agree with most of what you say but most of the time the digital effects onna voice like Madonna or Dimash especially you never comment on. It inhibits the voice and it sells it falsely. Live auto tune and over production is a thing and no vocal coach talks about it.
As others have commented by no means this is a #wtf performance. Rather this is a showcase of Kylies live performing skills. Love your channel, but a quick research would’ve revealed the truth
