So all 6 rods are in 5 feet of error with 1000 feet spooled. If they are off its only by small. margins.. you can also lay your rods down and have a friend run out 100 yds on each line counter reel. Then cut them all straight across and they will all be even.
Wish we could actually see what you were doing with the line and how to attach it to the line counter. That was why I came here to see how it’s done since the directions are useless. Camara was not in the right spot. Obviously for this video, your arm is in the way, and then you never show us the other side of the line counter that matters.
This was SUPER helpful thank you for the video. Gonna buy me this setup with an extra digital line counter for my old school friend!
Thank you for your tips. Now I want the line holder
They are sweet. Worked really well for me.
@@CatchingColorado yes. Now no more ask someone to hold the spools.
but can u use it for fishing at exact point , like distance sticks
The title sounds like your making your own spooler
I could see that now. Sorry about that. You could make one easy with thick steel round rods.
Great video!...I was thinking about getting a line counter...looks like this is the one! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
@@CatchingColorado ended up with the Kastking Kalibrate. Great bit of kit! 🙂
@@stuntznfx Ive never seen it but I'll go check it out.

You're arm was in the way when you were putting the line on the spooler
I thought the same thing.
But they are not calibrated From one rod to the next and trolling is all about duplicating
