One day I'll understand the appeal of these games. Like what's the point of levelling? You already one-shot everyone anyways? Unless there's some endgame mode I don't know about, why even bother levelling and farming?
I also didnt get it until i started to play them and go deep. Its really satisfying to play and grind away with dozens of characters. But yea the newer entries are too easy mostly, i suggest trying out Dynasty Warriors 7 or 8 and Warriors Orochi 3. They have more of a challenge to them. Or wait until DW Origins, this one seems to be much tougher. Also it depends on the difficulty, if you are underleveled and have not the right weapons/items, you can easily die in a few hits and deal no damage.
