It will only double officer drops not troops unless you get exp frenzy item so not worth it
Seems like Koei was like hey you know Gaunlet is pretty hard lets put in this Stage that literlaly only drops Exp scrolls for people.
what I did on this stage, since the infinite scrolls trick doesn't work on Xbox One is use Orochi X and spam his 3 hit charged attack. if you have absorption and osmosis maxed out you never have to worry about musou. if you activate his musou and just spam the 3 hit charge attack, you'll be invulnerable forever since you're in musou state but constantly gaining it back with the osmosis perk on your weapon. got 890k in about 30 minutes of just using the 3 hit charge attack. :3
also if you have procurement on your weapon it will give you two scrolls per defeated soldier while you're in exp fever. :D

I noticed that while the PS3 version doesn't have those DLC Stages, if you bought the Gauntlet DLC pack(which I did), you get like four stages that are essentially identical to this one. I used the Anegawa DLC stage to level Tamamo and it was atrocious how fast she leveled.

Love this stage. It is unlocked after beating gauntlet mode. I have hotten over a million growth points in the level before
only works on ps4 guys not xbox one... and his music keeps refilling is because his levelling up every second

This still works my dude, i like using the formation that spreads my allies across the map to find the goal, so im anle to individually level up a character i want such as ryu hayabusa, Ina and Zhou tai. Just try to get lucky with aquiring the mystic bells as well as get the X weapons as they are the most powerful weapons.
Can't wait to get this game!
Update: After watching my old gauntlet mode videos, I realized I never had the DLC stage option until AFTER I beat Gauntlet mode the 1st time and unlocked Hundun / replayed from beginning. So I suggest beating the mode 1st and trying it after. My Demon / Eagle eye formation video should help with that, but you'll still have to beat Hundun! He's quite the challenge. :P
Erkay, that could probably be the reason, thanks bro, I'll give it a shot. This mode is damn hard, I got raped playing the first stage after beating the tutorial lmao.

WARNING. I have the PS3 version, beat Gauntlet mode and unlocked Hundun. And there's no DLC stages in Gauntlet mode. Also, in History and Free Mode, you only have the DLC stages that you buy in WO3.

Great video, got my Xu Shu just about maxed, working on getting his X weapon, got a question though. Is there any reason or anything that triggers the screen shatter random character death? Tried looking it up but can't seem to find too many gives on gauntlet mode as it is.

As soon as i got this, ihunted down Lubu and his harness. Started hunting the rare items and then maxd promotions. Tryna find the best AOEs

Put on the mystic bell item, it pulls in item drops to you so you dont have to run around and collect them
I agree, the mystic bell item would make things go so much smoother. I would add to this by saying that the Mystic Bells are a guaranteed unlock by completing the "Brawler's Badge" request in Gauntlet mode, where you simply have to kill 30,000 enemy soldiers. Completing this easy request will speed up your levelling significantly here, and otherwise make sure you don't miss any stray scrolls of enlightenment or materials dropped from enemy officers.

well,since you have to beat Gauntlet Mode to get this stage....I still preffer Duel Mode>Survival>Rematch.At least 7 times...of course you still have to reach the 30's or 40's for it to be at least a little bit effective...3rd rematch got over 400000.The bonus for every rematch is so good that it makes this more worth it than this stage in GM in the long run.Since this one here works even for beginners.

how is your musou gage staying full the entire time? i have osmosis+10 but it doesnt refill unless i use charge attacks. do you have a certain item on xu shu?

I have never even unlocked xushu at all in gauntlet mode, and damn...
I realized that I killed HunDun in one try... with Ryu...
since he is my favourite character, I equipped him with both absorptions and osmosis, so, free health and musou everytime I use his charge attack

Still though, my Ryu build is a damn glass cannon, due to the demon nest formation, that formation will reduce all of your stats for power and musou

Jerz oh yeah the first time i did the duel mode i only survived until stage 35 and i got 81k growth points. Hmmm perhaps this is the best way then. Thanks :)
You get the dlc from Sharing(cross save) a save from the vita/ps3 version on WO3U. it only appears on the PS4 version. Someone posted the webpage already here

Dude, sick ass video, just a quick question though, I haven't play this new gauntlet mode yet, so everything needs to start from scratch, is it possible to do this stage with all the default characters + default formations and whatnot?

I'm also using the physical copy. (PS4) I think it's cause the gamestop pre-order bonus may have come with the stages, either that or try beating Gauntlet mode the 1st time and unlocking hundun.

Beat the red key stone stages. Once you beat them all and get hundun. You get the option to 'replay from beginning' doing so will unlock the yellow keystone stages. And you need to repeat for teal and purple stages. Lots of grinding.
Do you earn more exp on higher difficulties? I'm pretty bad at games, so hard mode is kind of a bad idea, for a lvl 1 character, for me

You dont need any preorder bonuses ect just conplete gauntlet mode and its easy if you have xu shu at level 100 and other decent chars also a youtube channel called 'we are the gamers' OR sumthing along those line showed us all the levels to get to the next level and i speed ran it in an hour1-30 or so and thats only becos i had to go bed and watch my shows
So all I gotta do is select a level 1 character, select this stage, and every time I kill an enemy, I get 300 xp?
i know this is old video but how do you have unlimited musou? when i tried on my xu shu and kai it decrease fast...is it profiency or the weapon build that i misssed?

To add on to this if i may. There is also a attribute you can have on your weapon called Bombast as that can give you UNLIMITED MUSOU for 10 seconds every 500 hit combo and and this even continues to take effect past the 9999 combo limit. I suggest using it on people that have like draining musous like ryu hayabusa, ayane, kasumi, kyubi as you can do uour normal combos whilst it drains thus being able to stay invulnerable till you somehow use up all you musou or go down a hill.
Um bruh i had this dlc stage bUt the enemies only drop the exp and doesnt go to you like u need to pick them up. Do you know how to solve this problem?
It's the mystic bells item I have equipped. Pulls everything to me.

All the EXP earned is shared for everything. Same with Levels.

Are there any good stages to level up outside of gaunlet mode? I'm not really a fan of gaunlet mode because all my characters are on the field and can get killed easily (while in free/story mode, they can be switched out of so they can heal).

+w33fatty123 nope....the exp per enemy is only for PS4. In Xbox the only ones that will actually drop exp scrolls are officers.
O know this is years late but I'm curious on how the scrolls come to you when I have to go over and collect them, am I missing something?

***** Xu Shu got the exp from the stage itself, since I used him. As for everyone else, I can use the massive amount of growth points on, or take them for a solo run on this stage as well.

You forgot to mention that you needed the mystic bells for the items to come to you. I tried doing the request in order to get that item but the game is not letting me take anymore requests for some reason.

+Jerz including story mode ya? so like I ran with guan yu and zohyun and one other, and I usually switch between the 3 of them in story mode after I kill a captain with my stronger character to get the xp for the lower character. that's probably illefficient isn't it

Just use them for the stage. They get good exp for killing the punks to.
But how do you say, level up the "recommended team" in story missions especially If you don't have tons of growth points and it's like a 4 or 5 star story mission?

How are you endlessly spamming your R1? I have this for the Vita and at the moment can't even beat the first Gaunlet stage.

I forget the name, I haven't played this game in a long time. Just know that everytime I level up, it's an free musou meter. Leveled a bunch here so yeah.
The ability is called osmosis. You get musou back with each hit according to the description, but it seems to only work on kills. Even so it's a good ability to have. I use it on Ayane all the time to keep her musou going so she can't be killed even at level 100 miasma. Slay also helps with making sure the adds die and give you musou.

Gotta get kills with it. I believe you can max the damage on a weapon with 4500-5000+ kills. At least that's how it was in WO3. May have changed in WO3U, but there's so many enemies, should be easy regardless.

I don't remember the character unlocks in campaign. Just know you have to complete every single stage.
Take someone with a SW musou to fight Hundun. Ryu Hayabusa did the job for me.

Also, I have an ability on my weapon that refills my musou everytime I land 500 hits. Which is extremely easy to do with Xu Shu.

Yep. Once Miasma is lvl 40, that's already considered Chaos difficulty. Have to find the exit or get stronger characters with good weapons / abilities.

The layout of the stage is the same, but in Gauntlet Mode, all enemies drop EXP scrolls in this stage.

Kept scrolling down, you regain Musou and health with each level up. So leveling up constantly will keep Musou full

Max the weapons damage? I think that's how, I don't remember.
I was just a little confused. I wasn't sure what was the element that increases the weapon's damage since there's 8 different attributes you can place on a weapon.

u need to do the True ending...u must basically unlock all characters except the ones you get for getting the true ending which is about 4-5 of them.
