Loving these trees I’m thinking they would make great name place settings for a Christmas lunch, you could either add a tag with the persons name or cut out a banner with each name on and glue the banner across the tree. Then pop the tree on the dinner plate with a hidden surprise under the bottom tier, a chocolate or a small present, it could be an alternative to a cracker!! At Easter you could do them in Spring colours and pop little Easter eggs underneath. My minds running with ideas now 🤦‍♀️😝, I’m thinking do small ones hanging on the tree or as a garland. Or do a range of big ones say 8”x8” bases or even 10” square working down to 2” which would give you a tree of 7 or 8 tiers if you just dropped 1” each layer and then group all the different sizes say from a 10” base with 8 tiers down to a 6” base with 4 tiers together on a side table with led lights intertwined, of course if you used glitter on the trees the lights would really make them twinkle. Oh there’s sooo many ideas!
Thank you for sharing and giving me yet more things I must make for Christmas!!

I am horrible at anything to do with straight lines; origami, quilting, anything requiring "neatness". I measure fifty times, cut once, still screw it up. Having said that... I just made a tree. It is decent. Just a note of encouragement for anyone else that sucks at..measuring and folding😂. Thanks honey for the fun tutorial!

Love these origami trees. I was wondering what type and weight of paper you used? It doesn’t appear to be cardstock but it also looks thicker than printer paper.
