I was smiling uncontrollably from ear to ear with him seeing how the greats showed off their skill and talent and will be remembered by the younger generation for an eternity.
It brought joy to my dad's eyes and he wasn't one to bring to joy easily (him being an old-time teacher/principal and strict disciplinarian)!

All the premier tap dancers in this movie even at their ages, made it look TOTALLY fun n easy, but I had this movie on VHS, n even though I was young, I still would rewind this particular section over n over again trying to emulate all these ab fab older dancers steps, n it was NOT Easy, but very hard work n also quite fun. My Ballet 🩰 teacher, Mr. Louis Ravenal, was giving me extra lessons after class in the secondary practice studio room, in soft shoe n tap incorporated with my Russian Ballet School training!!!! That was in the 1970's n up to the middle 1980's, when I embarked on my exotic dancing career around the Detroit area at bars n theatres n in burlesque!;;! With my earlier training I was able to incorporate all different types of dance n styles into my Rock n Roll persona, as "Electric Liz" n " Heavy Metal Liz" which I was known for at that time period.!!! Loved it all so totally n miss it immensely, as the old age n fibromyalgia set in n limited me!!!! Love seeing these blasts from the past,!!!! Thank you for posting n making my night 🌃🌉!!!

My hat is off, and I bow to these true masters of dance. All of them have left us, but their memory will live on for a long, long time.
