Thanks for sharing your brilliant talent and explaining your own way to create a painting, I have not done any oil painting yet but after recently finding your channel I've been intrigued. The myth what I thought was oil is mucky time to dry is long and difficult to start with. Your response/idea welcome, stay safe and healthy
Hi Philip, thanks for joining me on this painting journey. Oil painting can be very challenging at times but that is also how we learn and can be very rewarding. Oils can be messy compared to other mediums but just take some precautions. Cleaning brushes is one area that needs this. Most artists use odourless paint thinner, but some use baby oil too. Drying times depends on where you live and how thick the paint is, usually my paintings are touch dry in a week but may take several months to fully cure. Oils can be forgiving and offer the chance to blend away any mistakes. Let me know how you get on. I have lots of videos on the channel that may help you, look for the one brush one paint challenge Happy days Dan
