The Darktown Strutters Ball

This is a great piece that fits well on the piano. It was one of my grandmothers favorites, and I used to play it at the original : Cock of the Walk" in Natchez on an old, painted red upright.

Years later, still enjoying the best rendition of one of the best songs of all time. Maybe one day we will be blessed with sheet music of this one of a kind rendition so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. Can you imagine hearing this epic rendition as the first thing after searching for this melody throughout middle and highschool? Goosebumps. Sublime. The walking bass, the part with the climbing up "Eubie Blake style," the grace notes, all of it; it hits the spot so right!
