- Flight from Newquay Airport in Cornwall to the Isles of Scilly on Cessna 172.
We had a stunning weather for this trip, calm wind and nearly clear sky. Very nice and friendly place to visit!

This is just spectacular, the views are breathtaking. Quite significant gradient on the runway, you did well landing gently. Well done!

@@theflyingadventures I’m from Cornwall but now live and fly in Germany. My dream is to fly in Cornwall but I need to get up to speed with UK comms…
@@franwoon Good luck with that. Cornwall is a great place to fly! How is it like in Germany? Is flying much different there?
@@theflyingadventures I think flying in Germany might be a little eaaier(?) I get the impression that you’re constantly changing from one service to another, whereby in Germany it seems that you stay on one frequency much longer. As I’ve never flown in the UK however, I don’t know. I guess there’s only one way to find out! 😉
These shots are beautiful! What a fantastic trip to make, and agree with others the landing was impressive. Keep the videos coming I’m finding them very relaxing 😌 and helping visualise my soon to be cross country student flights in the not too distant future.

Hiya! I've found myself with more time recently and am wanting to continue my RUclips channel I started a year ago covering Cornish heritage and history. I moved out of Cornwall a few years back for uni hence having to trawl RUclips for footage instead of getting it myself.
I'm loving what you've captured here and find myself scarce of footage for Scilly for whenever I mention and cover it on the channel, so I was wondering if it'd be okay for me to use some of your footage? Obviously, I'll credit you properly in the description and credits!
