i dont think it's so much that but rather a budget thing, likewise with Velhkhana. Every other monster with their own unique theme that returned in Risebreak got a rearrangement, and Chaotic Gore Magala got one and he was in title update 3. Even if I most likely would've preferred the original arrangements, I'm sad we didn't get new arrangements of Velkhana and Amatsu's themes.
@@ArthurGaming146 actually velkhana and amatsu both have themes that are callbacks amatsu literally has the mhp3rd cooking theme if you cook there. and velkhana uses the iceborne victory theme.
I was not prepared for phase 2 to be that difficult at all, took me by surprise completely even me knowing the old gen moveset he has, this new moveset was not what i expected
Off all 3 of the Serpentine Levitating Dragons. Amatsu feels the best and works best. At this point I don’t know who’s stronger All Mother or Amatsu (I feel like Amatsu has more control over it’s elements but Narwa has the Purple Lightning) I’m just glad the most beautiful and elegant elder returned. I’m just asking for Shantien to make a return in main series with the best OST in the entire franchise.

You WILL want to farm this thing, both for its armor and its weapons. Its weapons have great raw, natural purple, great Water damage, and innately boosts all Silkbind attacks by 10%. They do have negative affinity, but that's easy enough to work around with the Expert Jewel+ that became available in Title Update 5. Its armor, however, is beyond amazing. The chest, arms and legs each have a level in its unique armor skill, Heaven-Sent. If you avoid taking a hit that sends you flying for a certain period of time, you get numerous benefits: With one level, you get reduced sharpness use and reduced stamina use after 30 seconds if using a melee weapon or after 60 seconds if using a ranged weapon. You can also instantly restore 50 hits worth of sharpness or reload your ammo with a Switch Skill Swap. Finally, if you do take a hit that would break the effect, that hit's damage is drastically reduced. With two levels, the benefits come in half the time. With all three levels, you get the same benefits of Level 2, but you use NO sharpness (as if under Protective Polish) and have infinite stamina while the skill is active.
Wow. I’m so happy Amatsu received so much love in the newer installments, here I was thinking that respecting its theme was the best thing they could do for us.
Fun fact: this is the only monster in risebreak that actually has 2 themes. Edit: Imma be real I ain't counting proof of a hero themes, I mean UNIQUE phase 2 themes, yknow?

@@gigagge Yeah, Amatsu's Sunbreak fight is up there as one of the best fights in the franchise, both in challenge and in how cinematic it is.

Narwa has two themes too
on another note to my knowledge Amatsumagatsuchi is the only monster with a unique victory theme.

It's just my opinion, or amatsu theme in sunbreak has higher quality than amatsu theme in previous mh game?
