I didn't realise until recently that this song was actually written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. I always assumed it was Cyndi's song - she certainly made it feel that way. She owned it and she sang it from her heart. It has always moved me and it remains to this day one of my favourite pop songs.. (even though as an Aussie I find it difficult to spell "colours" without the "u"! I hope you enjoy learning my little improvised version of this magical song.
