- www.eskimotion.... A quick demo of my new Yamaha P35. This was played using the piano samples in the East West Complete Composers Collection. You can read a blog about this here: eskimotion.com/...
Wow.. thanks for all the comments... the piano has it's own speakers that are really nicely built into the unit... I've had a great time with this keyboard so far... Before I bought it I looked at the M-Audio ProKeys88 and the Korg Sp170s that are in a similar price range, however I fell in love with the feel of the Yamaha p35 and bought it straight away...
Amazing... Beautiful! With the soul...
lovely piece. Thank you.
Also if you happen to have the track, I'd be more than happy to buy it. Thanks again.
Wow! Amazing song.. wish it was longer
Nice demo, thank a lot, great music.
Nice playing!
My next piano. I hope it is good !
awesome
It has its own speakers
3 years waiting
the piece is something I came up with myself just to demo the keyboard... you can hear some of my other compositions on my youtube channel and my website at www.eskimotion.com...
James Kelly Tell me, please, can one use this keyboard as a controller to any vst instrument?
IllaVIbe yes you can
Great melody, has parallels with some of Brad Fiedel's work...
Hi,
What is the name of the song? It's simply amazing. Is this piano good for a begginer? People complain about polyphony. I want to learn piano and i want to buy one. The first thought was the P 35 but it has bad reviews. What is you opinion? Thanks
beautiful, what else should I say
would you recommend the P 35 or the P 105 - in my opinion the 35 has a lot more clarity in the sound
hey there... i've only tried the p35 to be honest... and I use it only as a controller for logic pro (triggering samples from EastWest Pianos) rather than using the sounds stored in the keyboard (which are quite good... but not on the same level as Eastwest samples).... i mainly bought this as it had a nice feel to the weighted keys when playing....
Really sounds nice. How about the strings. Do they sound okay?
pesem mi je všeč
wow. what piece is that? [2]
this song is amazing :D how is the name? :)
thank you very much... it doesn't have one yet but i'm in the process of recording a full version of the track which will be available sometime soon.
I really like it also! Did you record it? :)
Thanks Anthony.. I did... A full version will be available soon! Watch this space...
awesome! after 2 years of waiting time :D its worth it ^^
Ha yes.. too much music to record not enough time!! It'll be on it's way soon. :-)
Hello! I am almost buying this keyboard to play it with VST plugins. So, its built-in sound are not important for me, as they are probably not for you too.
So, my question is: Can you tell you impressions about the quality of the keyboard and how the weighted keys feel in the fingers?
Do you have any complain about the quality of the keys?
Thanks a lot.
Greetings from Brazil!
hello james, was about to purchase this (but would need to purchase a little keyboard with a mod wheel on it too). Have you connected this with a midi>usb cable to your laptop or are you running this through an audio interface? If i bought this id also buy the cable so was just wondering about latency etc. Lovely little composition too
lens 18-55 canon ? ir which?
wow. what piece is that?
do you need an amp for it or does it have its own speakers?
What is the name of the song pleaaaaseee?
Amazing song, James. Congrats! I was wondering... did you achieve this nice ambient piano sound mainly by using East West piano samples, or did you use something else like a specific reverb or something? Keep up the good work ;)
Élvio Rodrigues Thanks a lot! the piano sounds are from East West Samples... From what I remember I used the reverb on Logic... However I've never been that pleased with the Logic reverbs... I've recently bought the Relab LX480 reverb plugin which I've found much better. Also East West have reverbs you can add to the basic sounds which also sound good. Although I never use them much as I've found the workflow slightly difficult as you have to go into the virtual instrument control to see and edit the reverbs (and I prefer to see where the reverbs are on the mixer itself)
James Kelly might want to try valhalla room for big algorithmic reverbs if you fancy. just tried valhalla after moving away from space designer, am quite pleased
+mightybazooka thanks a lot I'll check it out! also... I've started to use the EastWest Spaces plugin (which works independently from the PLAY software that runs the instruments) I've had quite good results with that (although it's slightly buggy when reloading projects at the moment)
what camera did you use for video? beatiful
+maximiliano dominguez thanks... I used a Canon 550d
which products did you get?
What are you using to record this audio? Was it through an audio interface or what? The quality is flawless!
Thanks a lot. I'm recording the midi signal through Logic on Mac... This is then triggering samples from EastWest Pianos. I did a little bit of EQ on the master fader and from what I remember there's a bit of subtle mastering on there to boost the levels (a bit of compression/limiting).
i wish my p-35 sounded like this. Even with quality 400 dollar studio headphones, the piano sounds boomy, mushy and incoherent. Especially in the lower octaves
Please, for fuck sake someone juste give me the damn sheet i'm willing to sell my own body for the sheet help
hey Razer... Sorry I have no sheet for this as this piece at the moment at it was semi-improvised... i didn't expect such a good response to it! There are now plans to do a full version of the track sometime very soon.... in which case they'll be sheet music too... i'll send you it when it's done and they'll be no need to sell your body!
You're the best man, thumbs up for the music sheet (and my body rofl)
