A few things to say about this video, first off, it's long, very long, this is part of an LPU belt submission and so I can't edit or speed it up, the pick and gut must be a single take, please feel free though to not watch the whole pick 😁, secondly, I have no idea why I didn't alter the camera angle for the gutting, whilst it's in frame it's not exactly centered 🤦♂ the adrenaline is pumping after a very long pick and I guess I didn't want to risk knocking the stop button which I have done in the past. All of that said, I'm delighted to get this open, it's a tough lock. and finally, if you must chop kindling with an axe it's worth ensuring you pay full attention and don't build up too much of a rhythm
Thank you Chuck, it took me long enough 🤣, this was an eBay find, they're not rare so a search rule will probably get you one in not too long a timeframe, great to see you pop back up btw, hope you're keeping well 🍻🍻👍👍
I remember when I was a young locksmith being shown a Fichet Bauche safe, about 6ft tall, one of the combination locks pulled out and the key was inserted in it, blew my mind. The bolt work inside was a work of art too! would have loved to have spent more time looking over it.
@@paulg413 They sure are! Great job on picking it open! Watching you and others on here makes me realise how average I was at picking locks when I was still in that side of the industry!
That was a phenomenal pick. I don't know about a black belt, they should give you a jet black black belt x2.5 The gutting looked almost as difficult as the pick and probably a pain to put back together. Paul that was awesome sir.
Nice job, Paul 🎉 Is that your second black belt lock? Are congratulations in order? Edit after watching the whole thing: that is not a nice job, that is an epic job 👀
It is, no congratulations yet, as I've yet to make a request and get my quests portfolio in order but thanks, it really was an epic 🤣🤣really appreciate the comment 🍻🍻👍👍
@@paulg413 you have done the hardest part and the rest are just formalities. That being said, congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 I am really glad that I was able to witness your journey, and I look forward to your future locksport endeavours 😁
