please keep making vlog videos like this. it is so nice to see you and joli and get a glimpse into actual life with plants that is more casual. really enjoying this one!
I loved this style of video! Also I have been missing Ross and his ridiculousness! When you guys are together in a video it is so fun. Jolie is adorable as always!
Your Old man cactus(Cephalocereus senilis) is so easy to take care of and yes you can even leave it in the freezing cold (I have many) and they never freeze (gets about 13 degrees here in winter at night with snow ) The fuzzes protect him They like filtered sun but in the summer mine stay in very hot sun (gets about 112 and hotter ) and they are fine Very tough The hairs are modified spines and serve to protect the plant from frost and sun by reflecting the rays of the sun and insulating the cactus from heat and cold I do not have them in the house They can grow to 20 to 40 feet tall and do get flowers of white ,red or yellow (if they get enough sun) They like being outdoors Really enjoyed your vlog I think it is one of the best videos you have done Hope to see more (:
Ross calling the Anthurium Pallidiflorum a beige plant! 😵 I just ordered seedlings and I'm sprinting to my mailbox checking for them every single day! Youve inspired me for months to get one and I'm so excited for mine to arrive! Only halfway through this video but I am LOVING this cozy content! And the wonderful doggy play moment was so adorable and wholesome! Love seeing dogs so happy like that! Fantastic video! As always looking forward to the next one 🤗
Yes Please do make more of these types of videos, I have REALLY enjoyed this. Very interesting to see what you took, and what you brought back. Also interesting to see a plant swap. Thanks from Alberta Canada.
I totally enjoyed this wholesome content, vlog style is definitely your thing, and mine 😂I want more… plants, animals, food, and more plants that’s everything. Seeing Joli out and about enjoying life was fantastic. And just so relaxed and comfortable to watch. Motivated me to do something similar. And the hairy cactus 🌵 well that left me in stitches for some reason 😂😂😂😂 ❤
I have to tell you thank you. I truly enjoy watching all of your videos and it’s such an inspiration to see your beautiful home and your beautiful plant family. It takes a special person to let the world into your personal space and not only do you allow us to be a part of, your plant journey, you actually allow us to participate and such a wonderful thing not to mention I love hearing you talk!! Lol, you have the most beautiful voice and accent! I think it’s super cute that Ross gets to be a part of the journey also y’all make the absolute most cutest couple! I know that was a long comment, but I have been waiting to comment and I just feel like this time was the best time! Happy planting!
That rentable off-leash play area is genius! I almost wonder what it would take to open something like that up on our farm. My wheels are turning now. I had never thought about reactive dogs having a place to run freely.
Hi Claire, I love all your videos and look forward to watching them as they come out. You have totally inspired me to try so many new houseplants - thank you! I rooted my Plecanthrus cuttings in water and they rooted very quickly. Good luck with your plant swap haul!
Paradrymonia is a hanging plant like columneas, lipstick plants. Drymonia has ticker stem and grows more or less like the irsine herbstii. And Ajwain is a herb used in Indian cooking to aid better digestion. It also acts as a cooling agent in summers when used in drinks. I guess you could root it in water if it is well callused like coleus cuttings.lynamii is a crawler. Loved watching your video and haul. Very lucky haul to get homolonema variegated. It is quite an expensive plant nowadays and I am looking for homolonema rubscence varigeted. I loved your pumpkin carvings. Both are very Halloweeny😅!! Good luck with your new plants❤
Everytime you talk about you colius amboinicus, I talk to my screen “that’s Trinidadian Thyme” I’ve had both regular green and variegated and grew it quite big just in water. The more you trim it, the more it branches out. Great haul! Love love that crocheted hanging plant💗 I love all the different styles of content you provide us! This 4 day vlog is a “sit down with coffee” time while your chores ones is a “get up and stuff” with me kind of time. All great 👍 ❤
Hi Claire, I came across your channel by happy accident. Thank you for all the great advice you give. Your are a delight to watch and have a lovely calming voice. I have learnt so much from you. Love Joli too! ❤️ Kym, Edinburgh
LOVED your Vlog today. So enjoy having Ross and Jolie (spelling) included. The two of you are so cute together. Love your interactions with each other and the love you obviously share with each other is very evident. A refreshing situation. You two are lovely and I so enjoy watching you! And All of your life your willing to share is fun for us to see you in a different light. I Wish you many blessings this fall and GOD bless you three!!
Thanks for giving us an honest view of your life - both the exciting things and the day-to-day activities! Many people cut our the ordinary which makes their life feel glamorous and unreachable, and it makes me feel so insecure. This makes me relate to you. ❤😊
Love this video style, it was so cosy and wholesome. And I laughed when Ross said the pallidiflorum was beige 😮 it's not one of my favourite anthuriums but damn that was savage 😂
This is just the best video ever! I love hearing about the plants you’re excited about, daily care, and everyday life with Ross and Joli was so lovely and fun. You guys take such good care of her❤ :) I love all the styles of videos you do, and thanks for being you!! :)
Hi Claire, thank you for another lovely planty video 💚 I believe that Coleus amboinicus and Plectranthus amboinicus are just synonyms for the same plant. According to my experience, it can grow quite differently based on the conditions (if you will not repot it and keep it in a small container, the new leaves will be tiny). In my language, it is called the “running nose plant” because it can be used to relieve a stuffy nose 😊 the easiest way how to propagate it is just water! It will root in no time. But I expect yours to be already rooted 😇
It was so nice to see both you and Ross in the video. I have a 110 pound lab that is very dog aggressive she has to be in the kennel don’t worry it’s weather proof and heated I let her out every day to run on our farm but have to make sure the other dogs are in the sad part is she was raised with the other dogs and is very kid and people friendly. I would never rehome her because I got her as a puppy and she is now almost 16 😊
Seeing you all bundled up with your scarf makes me feel so Canadian 😂 however I love your videos and I learn a lot from you! Thanks for the great videos !
I have an Arthrostemma parvifolium and it is such a beautiful plant! It gets lovely pink flowers and blooms profusely when happy. It will drop leaves easily if it gets too dry. I rarely see this plant in shops in the US, so I’m excited to see that other people have found this one.
Those prop bins full of live sphagnum moss is definitely a success! Just not with that was planted on purpose lol I love finding props I’ve forgotten about, it’s like finding a 20$ or even 50$ in your pocket when doing laundry!! I love my Retusa, been trying to prop to fill out my mother without success so far Ross is such a hoot, what a fungi 😂❤
I haven’t finished watching the whole video yet as I’m saving part of it for planty things but just to say, I love this format! Also it was lovely to meet you and Ross as the swap!
I love this video, you guys are adorable, I love the Jack Skellington sweater, the pumpkins turned out incredible, the plants are beautiful, that hairy cactus is crazy! Love love love
Please, more! I thoroughly enjoyed getting a glimpse of your life and more than a glimpse of your man! Ross is a gem of a guy - so creative! You're made for each other. (If I may be so bold!) Joli is so dear too... I love that she can wear a jacket that describes her challenges - it's great for other people to know with a glance! It gives you much more freedom, I'd think.
Hi Claire, your Alocasia green shield looks exactly like mine 😂, I noticed yours in your cabinet and giggled at the comparison,I have no idea what her problem is, I have 40+ alocasias atm and she is the constant headache, I grew her from a corm and she's given me plenty of leaves, but has been in the 3 leaf club all year
Really enjoyed this video Claire!! Currently at home feeling sorry for myself with a cough / cold and watching Jolie run around in a field with her ball really cheered me up 😃
Loved the vlog style video ❤ I'm happy you'll had a good time at the plant swap also and came away with some cool new babies. I have a question..... Have you ever done a Jungle cacti care video? Best type of substrate, best pot choice, etc? I think I'm doing ok overall with the handful that I have but I'm always open to more info. Thank you 😄💚
I have a homelamena maggi and it has not grown more than an inch in the 3 years I’ve had it! Water hungry too. That cactus is awesome! I’m starting to get into euphorbia cacti (I have a devils backbone but my local nursery has an arid section with lovely plants) The delosperma is so beautiful!!!
I started my coleus amboinicus cuttings in water and then transferred them to moss for traveling but I have also put them straight into soil. Taking a leaf cutting (like begonia) doesn’t work though… the leaf doesn’t die back but it won’t grow either.
Awer claire I really enjoyed watching this vlog thank u . I’ve never been a plant swop I would love to try it but my anxiety would get the better of me xx
So glad i watched this , i have an alocasia from a plant swap thst has grew so well in a comtainer a small circle one ans i forgot about the takeaway box method so i shall be doing that tomorrow 😊!!

Agree
Me too!
I loved this style of video! Also I have been missing Ross and his ridiculousness! When you guys are together in a video it is so fun. Jolie is adorable as always!
I lost it when you were bending over lighting a candle and Ross stuck his head up and was smiling....😆😆🤣🤣🤣
Joli in the rain bouncing about is the wholesome Thursday content we all needed. ❤
It's so adorable how Joli lies on her bed and watches you 😍 I love your vlogs, I often care for my own plants during watching them
Please keep doing EXACTLY WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD. 💕
Oh this is so sweet, thank you!
I love the vibe Ross adds to the vlog

I'd say "I'm getting old" but my knees have been this clickly since I was a teenager!
Love your blog, can we see more of this please. It’s so much fun to watch!
I am here for this kind of video.
I have to tell you thank you. I truly enjoy watching all of your videos and it’s such an inspiration to see your beautiful home and your beautiful plant family. Only 20 mins in but I love how Joli just sits on the couch and watches you do your plant chores 😊
She's a sweetie, isn't she!?
@@TheJungleHaven she is ! Also why does Ross have so much beef with your pallidiflorum lolol
RIGHT?

Oooh interesting, thank you! I've never grown this genus before, so I'm very excited!
What a wonderful vlog I'm watching it again. Your skin is beautiful. Thank you for all you do. Orlando Florida.😊

Ooo yay! New video!

Enjoyed this vlog!😊
Loved this video with you and Ross. And more Joli is always good ❤
Also, I believe Ajwain leaves are chewed as a mouth freshener in some Asian countries. It’s also supposed to be an antiseptic/anti fungal treatment.
How interesting! Thank you for the insight, I'm so exited to grow it!
Loved this video! And omg I need a vest like Joli’s that says ANXIOUS
Yep, same! 🤣
Is so nice to see the both of you in the video. Joli is adorable 🥰 as always it melts my heart.
Those prop bins full of live sphagnum moss is definitely a success! Just not with that was planted on purpose lol

That H. pink diamond is gorgeous. They are fairly expensive here in the States. 😍
I really enjoy this style!
Love the vloggy video.. Who was more tired after the dog park?? 😂
You know it's a real passion when you're in your loungy clothes with a hot drink.
Begonia amphioxus can be grown out of a terrarium. I have one in my living room living happy and grows like a weed!
Oooh good to know - thanks!
Loved this video so much! Really enjoyed it! ❤
Loved it❤

Hi Clair, what do u use 4 propagate? Moss? If so, what moss u use? I love your plants. ❤😊🎉
My go to for most aroids is typically moss!
@@TheJungleHaven thank u. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘
wasnt the original idea behind the bed to get Joli to vacate the sofa? 😅
Pahah... Yes...
This is an amazing video! And omg Fanta in the UK (in Europe I’m general) is delicious.
