Part of what makes this ride so unbelievable is the fact that the trains rolling on the track SOUND like a windstorm. It makes the “theme” extremely convincing

I remember getting 3 front row rides on this during a cold July afternoon. Loved every single one of them!
This coaster is one of my hands down absolute favorites on the east coast. ESPECIALLY at night!! I think out of the RMC's I've been on, it's better than Iron Rattler and New Texas Giant. Steel Vengeance is still my number one. There's still 4-5 other RMC hybrids I haven't been on yet.
Steel Vengeance is absolutely phenomenal. It's SUCH a long ride! I also need to get down to Busch Gardens Tampa one day and try out Iron Gwazi.
Steel Vengeance is the only RMC I've been on. With that said, I think that Vengeance, Rattler, and Texas Giant benefitted from having large structures. It gave RMC lots of room to work with because of their large footprints.

Just rode wicked yesterday. It’s great. But Iron Gwazi was mind blowing. Bigger, taller, faster. The first drop is straight down. I was in a mild shock afterwards. It was incredible.

Litteraly my favorite Coaster to go on as well as Batman and Superman.

Wicked cyclone is a good ride. But I just feel like it’s too much, I do NOT know what’s happening after the first drop haha
I rode this back in 2017 and it was my very first upside down roller coaster experience. Very intense but well worth it
Welp finally made the trip up there. Povs can not prepare you for this beast. It rained and once we got on in the evening after the rain this thing was running closer to 1.25x speed on here and it felt even more intense than El toro 🤯 - even the final outerbanked turn had powerful ejector 😍🙌 11/10

@@PosirepWC's X factor is that you can't understand how a ride that small can produce forces that strong throughout the entire duration. I rode it last day of the 2023 season in 40° weather and it was still hauling ass.

This is roller coaster is a work of art. Last time I was on it it was at night added to the experience.
I really like when the hills and inversions really eject you out of your seat and when you get back into the brakes the last hill really slames you back down in the seat!! You can feel how fast the coaster is running on Wicked Cyclone!! 🙂
I'm 63 and my best friend is 70 and we both went 9/10/2023 to Six Flags New England to ride this coaster in the FRONT CAR. There were all younger teens and adults waiting in the car spots but no one was in the front car spot. Why? I found out, it was CRAZY fast and brutal, on my left elbow especially. It had the darkest black and blue spot after this ride. I want to ride it again next year but plan on wearing elbow pads. This is the best coaster I have ever ridden in my life! Woo-freaking-HOO!
I didnt ride wicked cyclone but usually RMC’s (this coaster manufacturer) are more intense in the back car. You should try that car next time.

Went on this yesterday. 1-10 and 10 being best... Was definately a 10. That was my second time on it in 3 years. Amazing.
Rode both this and Superman for the first time around two weeks ago- damn! Just damn! Got front row rides on both, Superman was at night- needless to say they're both in my Top 5 🤣 This is one of the best coasters I've ever got the privilege of riding and you did an amazing job filming it! Keep it up bro! 👍🤘

I was born and raised in Ohio so I went to Kings Island religiously, but since moving to CT with my wife I've been trying to get a "feel for the area" as far as coasters go- and while Boulder Dash was great but super rough, these two not only met expectations but far exceeded them! World class coasters! Now all they need to do is tear out Flashback and Goliath and make a 3rd masterpiece and this park will easily be one of the best in the chain, if not one of the best in the country! Your videos are top notch, can't wait to see what you have coming for this summer! This is my summer to ride since last year was such a dud, so who knows maybe I'll see you out there- I'll no doubt save you a back row seat man! 👍🤘

I did wicked cyclone a dozen times when I visited in 2018. I really wish to go back someday, this was by far my favourite roller coaster at sf New England.

Wicked Cyclone has consistently been a fan favorite at Six Flags New England since it opened. It just goes to show that Rocky Mountain Construction is a group of miracle workers

Also I feel like Six Flags New England needs to either get rid of Goliath towers or flashback or both for maybe a small launch coaster or a RMC Monorail coaster as a replacement for those coasters

I believe Goliath is no more and flashback is painful and restraints are horrible
There's a shortage of family coasters there now--maybe put in a Gravity Group junior woodie or one of RMC's new family hybrids.
This ride is straight fire but I can’t help but also recommend the New England sky screamer because the views are incredible and if you get there early enough you can get a ride on cyclone and the sky screamer in a short amount of time

Everyone sweats Superman as they should, but this coaster made me laugh hysterically because it’s outlandishly violent and all over the place. Every hill you’re out of seat. Top 3 coaster at six flags

This ride is so damn fast that you can’t get scared and talk about that drop.
What catches my eye is the weather station at 0:28. How does it manage to stay up on there despite it being on a giant rollercoaster. Truly impressive.

its screwed down using steel screws drilled into the wood
POVs dont due the intensity of this ride justice. This coaster is smooth as butter but gives so much air time. The addition of the lap restraint rather than an overhead harness made it even better thrill and comfort wise. On of my favorites at Six Flags NE only behind Superman.
riding in the last train is either the best or worst experience, i was not ready for how intense the back would be because youre constantly being whipped and out of your seat 85% of the time

The setup of this ride reminds me of Wildcat at Lake Compounce (currently closed for construction)where I felt like I needed a chiropractor after each ride 😂 im definitely giving this ride a go this summer tho
Let me say something it feels way faster than it look
These types of rollercoasters always have the strangest and most unique layouts and curves on the tracks. It’s so odd. Like they’ll have curves within a turn (hard to explain what I mean lol) or curves when you’re sideways. It’s so weird and unique. And I’ve never ridden a rollercoaster of this style before. I can’t wait to try one
It’s a hybrid track, which allows the train to make those sudden moves. Now they all have them

I went on it last year and when it was going up it stop and person on the microphone said we are have some difficulties, that they called someone to come to fix it, stay seated and wait. I was in the last seat of the roller coaster.We were stuck about like 5 minutes but we got to finish the ride. I didn’t go on that ride again on that day.
Never ridden Twisted Cyclone, but I will always love the original version. Before Six Flags Assed up the original 1st drop. With all of the Wooden Rollercoasters that were converted into Hybrids by RMC, I still have to say WTF Cedar Point's planning and design department was thinking when it came to how the front lead car for Steel Vengeance would look like. It takes the award for having the most BUTT UGLY design. It's too high and too boxed. Love the design of Iron Gwazi's lead car. It's very creative and will offer a Great pov for front seat riders. Steel Vengeance lead car design has the look of the old locomotive steam engine, but with a lower profile including the pointy steel guard that's low near the track, this would look so much better. Don't mean to ramble on, but seeing the designs of other lead cars on RMC Trains, Cedar Point receives an F grade.
I agree, Wicked & Gwazi’s are beautiful. Twisted’s car is a dedicated to an old Ford Thunderbird front which puts it in the middle for design IMO.🥃

I used to go to this park every year - haven’t been since ‘18. Is this in place of the Cyclone wooden coaster?
Yes, it was retracked as a hybrid, so the track is steel now. My kids went on it several times today. It sounds SO smooth listening to it go. They still have thunderbolt, which is fully wooden

Do the restrains feel tight and is it over the shoulder?
No they are lap and shin bars, even with them tight I felt amazing air time. I over tightened them and still came out of my seat.

It’s almost like RMC converted a shorter wooden Cyclone into a hybrid coaster and were working within existing size and foundational constraints.

@@joemarais7683 I was just going off of height. Not experience. Also I’ve actually never been on a Vekoma boomerang, the last chance I got to was 2019 and I was an inch too short. And I’ve never ridden this either, I just find it kinda annoying that one of the best roller coaster companies made a amazing looking coaster shorter than probably one of the world’s stupidest coasters.
