For those still struggling with the volume button even after following the steps in the video, try entering CIT mode: Settings >> About phone >> Detailed info and specs >> tap 'Kernel version' seven times>> keyboard test.
(My problem was resolved using this method.)
edit: It won't work on certain devices, nonetheless, DON'T ever try to FACTORY RESET your device, unless you've fully backed-up.

If you still have the problem ,use WD40 ,apply with cotton swab , spread around the volume button , wait some time , press up and down for few times.. problem should be solved .
If problem still persists repair volume button
