I used to see them almost every year back in the 2000s. They toned down the lighting on this song after 2007 or so; i recorded this song at the time keeping my camera...that i knida had to sneak in back then, before smart phones... completely still for the whole song, and the light show became more and more intense as the song progressed, to the point where for the last several seconds of the spectacular ending, my camera lens literally couldn't handle the explosive flashes of light and the video would be lost in a sea of all-encompassing flash bombs where you could barely make out where the stage was anymore. I uploaded it to YT and everyone was amazed by it, saying it was way more exciting than they expected. It was so amazing. The show unfortunately hasn't been the same since. As relatively cool as the above show was, it used to be significantly better. I have to go on the assumption that due to the wide age range of their audience, they had to tone it down; likely some seniors and kids were overwhelmed by it. They used to be a metal band, as i was back in the day. So we were used to light shows that would temporarily blind us and knock us off our feet. I will likely see them again at some point, just don't know when.
