UI should be untouchable since its something you can't predict unless you're in the same level of divinity or level or even above. Jiren, UE Vegeta, Angel Moro, Black Frieza, Gas, Broly, and Granola are currently the only mortals to be on that level. Is SSJ3 Bardock on that level too?

Bardock fought that SSJ Ròse in his SSJ mode that too evenly(also that SSJ of his was also amped by Dark Dragon Balls)...so it's understandable how Dark Warriors like Bardock and Future Gohan can fight UI Goku and God Trunks quite evenly!

People totally miss the importance of leveling up and at what point . Goku and Vegeta had not reached the top of their base power when they went SSJ or SSJ 2 . Especially Vegeta had to force to go SSJ 2 . It seems once you go to that level , it stays set in stone .
Instead Mirai Trunks reached his limit when finally went SSJ 2 .
Try to think of it as in the Pokémon games when evolving a Pokémon at a lower level so different as to evolving it at their maximum base level. Big difference.
Bardock spent years or decades evolving his craft and fighting at its limit while growing and growing more its base power so when it went to the next level , it was exponential

He is using dark SSJ3 form which is why he is able to match UI Sign.
Future Gohan used this form in SSJ1 stage too when he fought future trunks in space-time tournament. He was equal in strength to Super Saiyan God.

Power scaling is messed up ui goku wouldn't have even needed to go on an beam battle he would literally end up behind him and knock him around or knock him out, bardock would be proud dear or flabbergastedly shocked I'm response to a devine form as UI. Beerus thumped ssj3 goku couldn't land a blow until after the ritual to become a SSJ God and Goku is way beyond what he was in that form when he was finally able to transform into UI

A reflex action is faster than a normal action but not infinitely fast. The limit is Goku's movement. Because of Dark Dragon Balls Bardock's attack speed exceeded Goku's movement speed.
So SSJ3 with dark dragon ball xeno bardock could fight decently on par with UIO goku!
Then imagine SSJ4 + dark dragon ball xeno bardock! He could basically beat MUI goku, or even on par with TUI goku if the form get into the show!
