So, as you didn’t say it, I will: certain pills are coated to camouflage an awful taste, but other pills are coated to protect it from your stomachs acidic environment, and they are meant to disintegrate first when it reaches the duodenum. If you dissolve a pill in a syringe as showed here, you need to know that the pill can be safely divided and crushed without compromising your health.
Important to know. Also, time-release medications have different thicknesses of coatings on the granules, so they dissolve at different rates, which is how they release the medication over time. Crushing or chewing those meds can be harmful because you're releasing more medication more quickly than you should.
And, there they are! Would it be SAFE to take medications that way though? I know some are coated or time released so I would think taking it on liquid form would probably taste worse and may also be work correctly.
This method is only for those pills that are meant to dissolve quickly in the stomach acid. The timed release pills should not be taken this way unless you have the doctor's permission.

Most pills say do not crush so this would slow the rate of absorption. Liquefying the pill would cause too much too quick in some pills so read your prescription bottle first.
The eye stuffs, tried it, loved it…UNTIL I started developing little red spots where I had applied it. Stopped using it, they went away. So, use sparsely, maybe just special occasions, if you choose to use it.
Well, If you are going to make tea from a plant, you really need to 'break' the fibers more. chop it up into smaller pieces, then steep it. I'm guessing a lot of the 'high' she felt could be from the chemicals (poisonous pesticides) sprayed on the lettuce.. I would advise against trying this unless your lettuce is organic and free from poisons & pesticides. But if it does work to help get a better night sleep, that is pretty cool.... nature is so awesome!
I used the eye tighter, and it left a film, and became crusty, and my bags were 1/4 her size. Maybe it's been improved since I used it, which was years ago.
I tried an eye tightener from a drug store a long time ago. I gave up on it because it felt and looked stiff and the film it created on my skin became crackled and flaky as I wore it. I would love to hear from people on the one Dr. Youn tried (if you've worn it for more than a photoshoot). Does it feel unnaturally stiff and uncomfortable? Does it do weird things as you move your face throughout the day?
My mom used to put lettuce leaves in the tub while bathing us, she always told us it relaxes the body to get a better sleep. I never believed her until now. Darn, I didn't try it with my kids.
Wild lettuce was known as "opium lettuce" in the past. You can make a tincture out of it, and supposedly, it does relieve pain. But it does call for "wild lettuce", not store-bought lettuce.
Models, etc, have been using haemoroid (piles) cream to tighten up eyebags before a photograph shoot for years. Could this be just repackaged haemoroid cream?
My son uses a wild lettuce tincture for his migraines with a California poppy tincture since he doesn't have medical insurance. They help him. Medication would be better but at least it helps.
Ya not supposed to talk or blink while eye serum is drying, I have used one for years. I do wonder if it is actually bad for the original bags. Great vid.
The “soporific” effect of the lettuce, (especially the milky liquid of freshly cut lettuce) is mentioned in the Beatrix Potter book for children The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
As a person who can’t swallow large pills, I really like that syringe idea! 😊 However, there is one antibiotic I know I will never do that with. It’s bad enough I have to cut it with the pill cutter. You’re not supposed to cut or crush it because of the bad taste, but there’s no coating on it, so you’re tasting it anyway, so… yeah.
Yes some pill bottles will say do not crush/ do not open capsule, or I’ve even seen ‘do not put under your tongue.’

But if it does work to help get a better night sleep, that is pretty cool.... nature is so awesome!
In one of my very old herb books, it states that lettece, if left to shoot. The milky substance can be used as a narcotic.
I love your informative videos.
Wow! It really works. Very good.
I ordered this before the video was over!! 😁😁
The lettuce test: the sleepiness could be a reaction to the chemicals sprayed on lettuce transferred to the water
I wonder if cabbage/greens works just as well because my grandmother used to give us pot liquor then all of a sudden I'm laying down 😴
You are so inspiring ❤️❤️
Your the best I just love you DR Youn
I used the eye tighter, and it left a film, and became crusty, and my bags were 1/4 her size. Maybe it's been improved since I used it, which was years ago.
Same!
Whats the exact name of eye cream? Thanks!
lol nice ending. Actually I had epilepsy and MCAS so I would take lettuce to control the seizures. I would eat late salad and slept without seizing .
OMG, you crack me up and LOVE IT!
love your videos
Waiting for something for dark under eye which can fix like this temporary 😁
It's the tryptophan in the lettuce. It was used by parents to help babies with stomach colics and get them to sleep.
I love these videos! Thanks for the info!

DrvYoun please make a video about lipedema it would be useful for many of us

You have a very disarming manner and I quite enjoy watching your videos!
I was getting a SILENCE OF THE LAMBS flashback as I was watching you sit in front of the makeup mirror 🤣
Wild lettuce was known as "opium lettuce" in the past. You can make a tincture out of it, and supposedly, it does relieve pain. But it does call for "wild lettuce", not store-bought lettuce.
THIS!
The Phillip Roth works but it isn't long lasting. It's great if you're having your picture taken. You can't use foundation or concealer with it.
That was great fun doc.
The instant eye tightener didn't work for me....but somebody told me I didn't have enough baggage so idk 🤷🏿♀️
Think it depends on what cause the bags I herd in a nother video a Dr said she had some kind of muscle atrophy and the cream mad the muscle contract
Models, etc, have been using haemoroid (piles) cream to tighten up eyebags before a photograph shoot for years. Could this be just repackaged haemoroid cream?
I have found that the PTR tightening serum leaves behind a haze on my skin.
My son uses a wild lettuce tincture for his migraines with a California poppy tincture since he doesn't have medical insurance. They help him. Medication would be better but at least it helps.
So what happens when you apply anything over it?
The only thing with the pill crushing thing is some meds aren't formulated to be crushed so it may be absorbed differently than its supposed to be
Ya not supposed to talk or blink while eye serum is drying, I have used one for years. I do wonder if it is actually bad for the original bags. Great vid.
I wouldn’t recommend the pull one. Some medications are NOT to be broken up.
The restore doesn't work. My husband tries it for over 1 year and there was no change or difference, and he returned it
You should try it on the upper eyelid around the brow. I'd be curious to see how that works.
What eye cream you would recommend for day and night and which is available in Europe
What is the name of that skin tighten cream
Dr Youn has beautiful eyes!!!
