Hard to shake that off. I know you’re gonna keep positive after this! Your positivity is what keeps me coming back.
Man that shot looked good Eric!! Until the replay.. he lives to hunt another day!! I'm hoping that Buck is like the fire bull.. patience!! Another great video..
You guys continue to inspire my passion for the outdoors. You guys do it right. Eric your relentless attitude is one of a kind. Keep it up I can’t wait to finally step out of my shell and finally set a tree stand up. Thanks for pushing me.
This is why I enjoy your channel you show everything make it more personal for the people watching it
Love the highs and lows of the adventurers, always enjoying the great content guys!!🦌🏹
Thoroughly enjoying the series from Australia. Hard luck, felt like I was with you in that tree stand. Loving all great camera angles, keeps it really intersting and makes it feel like you have a film crew despite hunting solo. Very cool. Goodluck for the next one. Regards Jamie
Keep the videos coming. They are awesome guys. I look forward to them everyday.
Tough break Eric, it happens to everyone at some point. Thanks for sharing and the honesty of hunting, not everything will go the way we want it to, and that’s what keeps us out there day after day. There is no quit with the Hush crew! 💪
Only way these videos are going to get any better is Land of the Free 2.0 kicks off and I get to watch them both every night. Love the series so far can't wait to see what's in store.
I just gotta say, I love what you guys are doing and love the vids. I learn a lot from you guys. I like to see all the ups and downs, that how hunting really is. Keep up the good work
I feel for you. I've had the same deal happen and its rough. Happens to the best and you did all you could. Excited for the next video!
Man I can’t get enough of these!
Watching from Australia. Love your work guys.
These videos can't come quick enough
Eric... Welcome to the world of whitetail hunting (Yes, I know it was muley). That's exactly how it is. I hope you get another crack at the buck. Not sure if you do this, but I tend to practice like I'm hunting. If I'm going to be up in a tree stand, my bow will be cold and I'll shoot 1 shot at a random distance from the sitting position with similar clothes. But... With that said, it happens and it happened to me. Any archer who says that never happened to is lying or will be lying. I really like this format. Keep it real and I'll be watching.
The intro gets me soo pumped to see what happens
Good good! Good videos.... very hard. Your right, she does rock. Keep the kids in it!
Love the videos you guys can't send them fast enough im like a kid after one is over I'm ready for the next one Eric keep practicing it will come to you
Looking forward to these daily videos, this is awesome.
This is ridiculous! You guys make us wait like the BRO guys... lol ;) lovin' it so far!
Tough break @EricChesser you’ll get him man just keep at him. Love the videos guys and can’t wait for LOF 2.0 and all the daily vids from Hushin !!
Good episode guys! Tough break Eric! Maybe you should move your tree stand if possible to cut off those big Bucks skirting your salt.
Ouch. But happens and you never disappoint with the effort of verifying that animal is ok . Keep up the good work guy's
Man Casey I gotta say, there is a noticeable difference in your physique from last season! You look great man, lots of hard work paying off, keep it up!
Hushin killing the vids 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Maybe you should move your tree stand on a different tree where those big boys are coming down!
SO EXCITED GUYS
Its was a good shot but he just moved back before the arrow hit you can shoot your bow all you want but you can't control what that deer does when you shoot good job Eric
I love you guys !!!!!!
Not gonna lie..I’m falling asleep over here😴😴
enjoyed the personal piece at the end...Hope I can figure out how to make similar $ to what I'm doing now and spend more time in the field. Great videos, fun to watch, Thanks!
Loved the video
god damn I love this channel
Well... that's archery brother, that happens sometimes. It doesn't feel good and you did the right thing looking for him. Chin up! And hunt on!
I feel like you guys videos are better quality than the actual hunting channels (and you guys are actually hunting the majority of the time), like Sportmans channel or Outdoor.
Continued Success as your videos allow me to unwind and live vicariously through you all. Hoping to get out and about within the next few years as life starts to slow down a bit. Now to convince some friends to join me...
Hats off to you guys , and your beautiful wives , cheers from down-under
Holy crap I didn’t really realize how much weight casey lost! Good job man keep it up.
Hope while your home you remembered batteries for your range finder. Looks to me that even if you would have used your 40 pin you would have shot low
Are you guys gonna offer the hush rifle again this spring and if so when and what calibur. I need more time to save than what you gave us for notice last year. Thanks love the videos you guys do!
Eric, I'm excited for you guys this year. My dream is to someday hunt with you guys but, I'm need a little more time to recover from my cancer treatment s that I had in 2015. Good luck! P.S. Say hello to Casey and Brian for me. Scott
scott arthur Congrats. I hope you’re well.
I wonder if he would have come to the bait if you waited? But at 35 yds i dont blame ya. It was a good look. Your kinda in Bridget's world! Curious what she tells ya! Love the series so far.
Hi guys! Looks like a fun trip! Can you please add the make and model of the headlamps you guys are using! Thanks
Eric, I think at least 75% of us would of gone for that same shot. I think he will be back, and you'll get him! Don't be too disappointed in yourself.....it happens.
bowhuntjn white tails SC tuff gotta be accurate just missed 32yards good swamp buck . SERIOSULY.DUDE I FEEL YALLS PAIN ANY OF YALLS PAINS woulda been biggest my.life swampy 6er palmated
I feel ya buddy I just low shot 2 150 class bucks within 24hours ! The first one I blew it at 25yds and the second I freaking grazed a tiny limb and low shot him at 31yds! I'm super disappointed after all the time I set in the stand but they weren't lethal shots and I still have time! Just gotta keep ya head up and get.back on the horse! You can do it man just keep after it! Good luck and good hunting!
Love the vid
Was this bow season only? I always kept a 30-30 or 270 with me during gun season.
Bummer E, it happens to all of us! What are you using for the salts or minerals?
At least it wasn't a fatal shot. Looking forward to seeing what is gonna happen tomorrow guys. Next year we will also be doing a day by day. Look us up at 22 outdoors. No videos yet still doing a bunch of editing from this year. We are on Facebook though.
You guys planing to come up to Washington??
Better than tv...
I thought you were taking the Defiant on this hunt since the REDWRX was hitting low at the range? Might be why you missed...
Same exact thing happened to me this year during rifle season. Low and right at 450 yards. Limped away, laid down then wandered off into the ether. Sucks
Awesome video, sorry that you missed the deer. But I Need to know what Broadhead you were using, been looking for them for ever. Where did you get them?
Lun Castelo that’s a Rage Hypodermic
DIY Whitetail I thought those were the ones that the blades pivot on to help go around bones. If you know the name of them please let me know.
Thank you
Your your videos are great
You guys partnered with stone glacier now?
Well? Shit. Rain cost me 3 archery bucks. You had the right plan. Happens. Take a minute and trim that branch. Subconscious made you miss. Lol
Nice man
Don’t be so hard you’re self it happens we all be there
nice shot
Where’s the best place on the Wasatch extended archery to get my first buck
mt. deez
@@pizzahunter808 I agree Mt Deez or Mt Candice
First good vid
#HUSHLIFE
Maybe you should move your tree stand a little closer to a little tree that you can find
hate see yall.miss but love channel.real people miss and we all have our highs and lows of bowhuntjn ., BOWHUNT OR DIE YEWWWW
Trust me I’ve made terrible shots before too don’t feel bad it happens to everyone
What type of hunting is there
I felt his pain lol
Bummer Eric
254 like YES
You got blood, notch you tag and call it a season. Respect the animal and don’t chase the money.
notch his tag?? you're crazy.
You did the right thing
So close Eric..
Casey look in slim and trim. Eric, cut a couple branches and you'll be better off. I know you "hide" yourself but I think the line of sight will pay off.
Second
Millcreek
I have been in your boots the disappointment you feel in your soul mmmm
Ok how much weight did KC Lose
Ron Thibeau Wondered the same.
man these hush guys cant shoot, they wounded one of the hunting public guys deer too.
If you have to whisper put some text .we cann.t hear you
Mike Nichol We can hear just fine.
RUclips has subtitles
Don’t get so down on yourself, this will normally happen and the look the video doesn’t even look like you touched him
Bad form dude. If you look at the vidja. You were hunched over and not fully extended. Which happens on sitting shots. Always try to stand if possible. Thanks for the vids tho dude keep hushin.
Looks like you guys refill your mineral licks before you hunt? Kinda seems like your hunting a bait pile at this point...Love your vids, and respect you guys as hunters but as a western public land hunter in Colorado (where baiting is extremely illegal), we definitely look down on people (especially guys that are good hunters) that hunt over bait instead of spot and stalk. I'm sure you feel the pressure to get a deer for your channel's continued success, but personally, I would rather see you guys work your butts off spot and stalk just like the rest of us (even if you don't get one). Just a thought...
they most likely only have the salt piles out to get the inventory of deer in the area, this is what most people do in the states that allow it
@@rackhunter5113 Ya, I totally understand using Critter Lick to get an idea of the animals in your area with trail cams, but you can clearly see fresh bait in the shot of the deer coming in...thats what rubs me the wrong way. I know it's legal, and I love the Hush boys...but I know they got the legs to get out and stalk animals, not sit in a tree stand over bait.
LeftSlope Media There are many choices to make in life. One of those choices is to not watch or be involved in any way with something that “rubs you the wrong way.” Oh, and did you say you “look down on?” Shame on you. I live in the west too (the Gila is literally my backyard), but as I guess you know, hunting on public lands sometimes will push you to get whatever “edge” you can get. I’d rather bait an animal away from roads, where road hunters cruise up and down pretty much sunup to sundown and give them a better chance by being a WHOLE LOT more fair than road hunters will. If it rubs you the wrong way to the point where you look down on someone for not agreeing with how they do things, you should make your way out of the room ASAP.
@@albertledesma5173 I do, and will continue to watch Hush I appreciate what these guys do. Shame on me? Really? To each their own, but I hunt wilderness areas far from roads on every hunt I go on...and I don't bait. Also killed a 6x7 elk this fall during archery and a 170" mule deer last year during rifle. I'm not a road hunter, nor do I condone that...but I don't see how hunting over bait is much better than road hunting. Get out of the room? Really? I brought up a legit question as a subscriber to the Hush boys, simply stating my observation as an avid hunter and conservationist that looks to digital media to promote the most ethical means of hunting, and I don't personally believe baiting is that ethical. Thats it. If you feel like you can't harvest an animal without baiting, maybe you should spend more time in the woods and not behind a keyboard.
Wow the Gila is your backyard? Here's a qoute from the NM Fish and Game - "It is illegal to take or attempt to take game species by the aid of baiting or scenting. Knowingly take or attempt to take game species in a baited or scented area, except quail on private land. Hunters should be aware a baited area is considered to be baited for 10 days after the removal of the bait. Individuals may use scent-masking agents on their person, but these agents may not be used to attract game species." - Sounds like you should have a visit from a game warden if thats how you hunt...
leftslope. who are you to look down on others for how they choose to hunt? just because you don't like it? if they aren't breaking any laws, then you have no right to bitch. i'm not into tree-stands or road-hunting, I prefer to put miles on my boots, but I sure wouldn't suggest that others are wrong for doing what they prefer. man, it's bad enough that hunters have to defend themselves against the antis, we don't need fellow hunters attacking hunters also.
