One of my favorite actors. I didn't see all the movies, etc. he was in. I'm one that watched 'The Fugitive ', every week. Was pulling for him to be proved Innocent..
No idea he was sooo very young when he passed away. 😢

To be spoken of as being kind after I’m gone would be wonderful.
That’s my goal now at 63.

I loved him in the Fugitive and Harry O. To me, he was the quintessential every man kind of actor. He grew more handsome as he aged. I’m sorry that he was taken from us so soon.

The Fugitive is my favorite TV show. I saw the show in syndicated reruns, and my ex-girlfriend was born on Tuesday August 29th, 1967. That was the day that Dr. Kimble finally confronted the one armed man.

I had the BIGGEST CRUSH on David Janssen when he was in the fugitive. I loved that show with HIM in it he had the sexiest voice and was soooo handsome. He was perfect in it too he had it all, except more years to live. 😍 🙏💔

My family watched David Janssen in every television series or made for TV movie that he was in. Early on, his roles in theatrical movies were sometimes somewhat small but he always made the most of whatever part he was given. My favorite movie is Ring Of Fire for which he had the starring role. Great movie though probably not well known and great theme music for it by Duane Eddy. The television medium seemed to be where he really shined and had his greatest popularity. Actors of today just cannot hold a candle to the greats of yesteryear that we have lost.

You are right about smoking and drinking in those days. It took my own mother at age 40 about 5 years before Janssen passed. It saddens me today any time I see young people who have taken up these self destructive addictive habits.
