I mean, marriage was originally INTENDED and DESIGNED to be a business transaction; a woman handed off in exchange for business without the woman’s choice. And for the woman, marriage much of the time ended up being devastating as she had no choice in the matter. So what are you talking about ?
Actually, it wasn't. If you are referring to man's purpose for marriage, I see your point. But God INTENDED marriage to be an equal partnership, one in which the two parties compliment and serve one another harmoniously and in rhythm.
The "business transaction" you speak of was never God's doing. Many of our natural understandings are not God's doing, but man's way to rationalize the unknown and exercise authority and control over a narrative that never belonged to him.
Can we stop with Jada being in the media. All she cares about is being relevant, and will throw anyone under the bus to get it.
