Thankful I live in the South where my 4 br, 4 bath home, with 2,853 sq. ft., bonus room upstairs, 4 sides brick & stone, I purchased 13 yrs. ago and paid $206,000 for it. Don't know how anyone can afford to live up North. Whenever I watch HGTV, and see the prices for the Northern states, I seriously wonder where and how people can afford a home.

Such a beautiful home but I'd think seniors would die in such a cold climate slipping on ice. I'm in Arizona, my heat comes on at 70 degrees when it's the dead of winter.

@@mconnor131 I did get a new HVAC this winter, replacing my 20 year old one. My electric bill last month was $126. I keep it at 80 degrees.
I wanted to see storage in kitchen and pantry and whatever was behind the other double doors by the front door 😏

Why didn't you provide the asking price? Also didn't feel comfortable with the neighboring house right above the rear yard area or the sloping backyard. Potential for water/rain run-off and soil erosion.

Lovely home....not -so-great video. FYI sound of camera adjustments almost overcome Missy's voice.Does sq footage include basement? Gas heating? What is lot size? Why not see pantry interiors, kitchen drawers/cabinets? Ceiling heights? Nice transom window in primary but are there shades for am light? What was back-yard view? Back-Yard / lot size? What did deck look like? HOA/Condo fees? What's included w/ fees? Any community amenities ie pool, tennis courts, walking trails, etc? PRICE OF HOME???

I’m in California and there’s almost no new construction that is single story. This is very appealing.

It's unfortunate that the high windows in the bedroom look right out at the neighbors who are up a steep (eroded) hill behind this house. Maintaining privacy would dictate adding some blinds there!

NICE VIDEO PRESENTATION. LIKED THE SIZE OF THIS HOME BUT IT HAD A BIT OF AN ODD LAYOUT FOR ME. NOT A FAN OF ALL THOSE DOORS IN THE ENTRYWAY OR HAVING THE LAUNDRY RIGHT OFF THE MAIN LIVING AREA. This is a beautiful home, but I do not like the open concept. I know, I know! I am out of step with modern design. Kitchen/dining or living/dining is ok. But I do not want my living room open to my kitchen. BUT! It is beautiful.

Very nice large home. Concerns: I did not see any consideration for possible future needs as the owner ages--special needs, grab bars, zero clearance (level with floor) into shower, doorways wide enough for wheel chairs. Would like to have seen a basic home and price information given. No information as to any yard space. Referred to but did not show patio space.

Blackstone Reserve is described as a community designed for active adults 55+. This is simply an age-restricted, independent living community of 66 homes. Put simply, it's a neighborhood where every homeowner is at least 55 years old.

What is the advantage to living in a 55 and over community?
📢 No loud kids or teenagers driving recklessly while blasting their 🎶🎶 music & littering or t.p 🧻 your front yard . Most people over 55 aren't partying at 3 am they have learned to respect their neighbors & they take pride in their community.
My community is no longer 55 or over but believe me you can tell the difference! When the riff raff comes in from the clubs at 3 AM in the morning blasting their boom boom music, it's ⏰ to move out & find another 55 & over..🤯🤯🤯
The only loud cars driving by are ambulances.

With that huge hill in back, I can just make out some erosion issues. Water in the basement? Is this the reason why it is on the market after just one year. For a 55+ Community, that house is not well designed to age in place. Crystal "boob" lights, yak.
So how much? Looks like the owners ran out of cash by the looks of the bedroom.

I live in North East Georgia and I am sure this house would be over 600K. It is too expensive here now. My Townhome cost me 485K in 2020. I never thought I would pay that amount of money for a home. Plus, the interest rates are insane.

For a 55 older community why do you have the guest bedroom staged like a teenagers room? Also with two bedrooms where was the bathroom for the rest of the home other than the master bedroom. Also your mirrors look old fashioned not up to today’s standards.
