I've probably said this before, but I LOVE how you balance a busy healthcare career with moments of self-care and enjoying the little things, like skincare and coffee. Really inspires and motivates me. 😍
I love your realistic vlogs and how you always seem to prioritize self care. I know working in healthcare is tough, and it’s really important to remember to put yourself first. Good luck on your boards! 🤍
Great video with great resources. I took my CT boards last years and I will say that myctregistryreview had questions almost verbatim to the ARRT. Keep studying and Good luck!! 👍👍👍
I started rad tech school almost one month ago and feel so overwhelmed with all of these classes, assignments, and information. I feel like i'm not grasping it as well as I should be. Can you make a video talking about how you got through school ? And any study tips, how you felt during school, etc. I'm questioning my entire existence right now lol.
I have a full playlist of all of my Q&As during my time in school, including semester recaps, first year post-grad, etc! ruclips.net/p/PLAG0obhrg15XlpHxy5VnGMjJQTQKuOhyw
The CT Bootcamp is also sufficient to get the 16 hrs education required for examination - It's broken down into an 8 hr Image Production and 8.25 Hr Cross Sectional Anatomy & Pathology :)
(Question for commenters) I’m looking for a CT registry online study program. I’m between ‘CT Registry Review’, ‘CT Tech Bootcamp’, and “CT Tutor”. Any recommendations? (I get bored hellla easy if that helps 😩)
Omg I’m finally going to be able to take my CT Board exam in January and of course I’m freaking out lol. For the Cross Sectional do you recommend any books or how did you prepare for the anatomy/procedures …. Thank you!!!
you’ve got this! I personally learn best from quizzing myself, so I googled “ct cross sectional anatomy quizzes” and used as many of those as I could! If you ever have downtime at work, practice pointing out anatomy on scans you’ve done too!
@@JuliaKristine thank you love! It’s been crazy I wanted to take it earlier in the year but central Florida only has one Pearson testing center (fml) so it was chaos but now that I have an actual date of course I’m freaking out lol
You might’ve answered this before but how can you get a ct/ mri job degree wise? I know you need to take your boards but do you need any sort of degree?
yes, you need a degree! I have an AAS in Radiologic Technology For MRI, it is primary or a post-primary modality, so you can either go to a specialized program (primary) or do on-the-job training after receiving a degree in one of the supporting modalities (post-primary). For CT, it is only a post-primary pathway, so you have to go through a program for a supporting modality and be registered (ex. rad tech) in that modality prior to training into CT. This link might help: www.arrt.org/pages/earn-arrt-credentials/initial-requirements/postprimary-requirement
Wait, so even though you’re not yet registered they already allow you to work as a CT/MRI tech? Sorry I’m working on my rad tech program, but I still don’t understand the steps to becoming an MRI tech afterwards. 🥹🥹
yes! Radiography is my primary modality while CT/MRI are considered my post-primary modalities. This means you have to have your ARRT Radiography credentials prior to starting in CT or MR. It’s just on-the-job training vs. going through a program. There are CT/MRI programs out there, but they’re few and far between which is why you see most people just do OTJ training. Here’s a link to how post-primary works: www.arrt.org/pages/earn-arrt-credentials/initial-requirements/postprimary-requirement
