My FAVORITE part of your WIML is you making your coffee, getting ready before work etc. It helps me show that adult life is about a work life balance and taking those little moments throughout the day to reset and collect yourself! ❤ IDK who those commentors are but they seem to have very unrealistic expectations. 😅 You seem like such a sweet person and I feel like your patients probably appreciate that, as well as the fact that you aren't violating HIPPA by Filming them. 😂

Keep up the great work with Winnie. You’re doing just fine. I had a chihuahua that couldn’t stop going to the bathroom in the house. And finally at 2 years old she got used to the idea of going outside. But then had to get used to being on a leash when I lived in my townhouse. Anyway, sorry for rambling. ❤️

I seen a dog trainer recommend only giving the length of the leash (about 6ft) to allow the dog to go potty and just plant yourself and dont allow the dog to sniff an further then the 6ft, they will eventually get bored or go potty but the point of this training is to prevent the dog from exploring and just focus on going to the bathroom and of course if they do go to the bath room during that process give them a reward. also have you tried a happy hoody for dogs? it may prevent her from being scared of the wind.
Wow, the audacity of some of these people and their rude comments. Your channel is a Lifestyle channel so that includes all aspects of it. yes!!!!!! Healthcare companies have very strict workplace & social media policies. It doesn't matter that you "should" be able to show your life on the internet, in many places your workplace can and use what you say online against you- even if you don't explictedly share their company's name. It's especially bad if you live in an "at will" state where they don't even need a reason to fire you. HIPAA is very very serious and when you've worked so hard to get licensed and have a job in your field you're not about to risk it all for a youtube clip. Lots of companies have a lot of problems with people doing anything non-work on the clock, even being on their phone let alone vlogging. Maybe some people out there can afford to risk their job but most of us can't. Also I still haven't had Chipotle either!! I thought I was the only one! We JUST got one here last year lmao

Not sure if you have a private patio at your apartment, but you can try a grass delivery service for dogs to see if she’ll potty on her own patch of grass. I use it for my 8 month old dog out on my patio and it’s perfect. Doggie Lawn is my favorite one, but there’s also Fresh Patch. I get a fresh one delivered every other week and it works like a charm.
There's definitely a pattern with people and youtubers where when a youtuber is going through school people love all the studying and productive vlogs. Then once the person graduates and becomes that thing and settles into the flow of their life, as people do duh, people complain that the content's just not the same. And complain about not seeing all of their work anymore. I totally believe that anyone demanding why you're not showing your work in HEALTHCARE has to be people who are still students because anyone who works in healthcare should know. Most jobs are not going to be okay with you bringing a camera in, let alone around PATIENTS. It's literally against HIPAA. Most jobs don't even want you being on your phone at work, let alone filming for youtube. Besides HIPAA, a lot of companies (including many in healthcare) have conflict of interest agreements you have to sign. It can be a huge no-no to be doing something that earns you money (like youtube) while on the clock for that job (or for some places, at all, period), so you have to be really careful about it. Most of us can't risk our jobs for youtube clips. I love your content and seeing you just chilling and living your life! All of us working adults have lives that tend to feel repetitive sometimes, and it's always nice to know we're not alone!
Yaaaay, week in the life vlog!!!! Wow, I'm so sorry that you deal with people like that, but don't let those haters bring you down. You are awesome and make amazing content!!!
I love watching your videos! We all know (or should) that you can’t film sensitive information about work and with patients. That’s crazy people expect that. Unless it’s other employees re-enacting for education purposes you won’t see that. I love all of it!
My dog had the sane problem when I moved. We would take him on a short walk just down the block and he'd use the bathroom. Eventually he started using the new yard. Just takes some time.
I honestly like watching vloggers like you, do your morning routine and what not . Its very satisfying to listen and watch for more than 10 minutes what you do, in your life. Besides, if thats how you want your content to be then do it without haters input💁🏻♀️💕 besides if followers dont want to see certaib things in videos then they can cut those parts out in their content 💅
Also really struggling with my channel just being a work channel.. that is what people actually watch, but I kind of wanted my channel to be more of an outlet outside of my work, so totally relate
It's hard to make work day vlogs as a tech. When I a made a day in the life video, I had a part were I was making eggs, some dude commented " wtf are you making eggs for? Nobody wants to see that" 🤣 I'd say just make videos that are fun to you.
Don't mind the comment. You are living the best of your life, and honestly, they were just expecting too much. Just continue to be who you are and i love the videos you shared.
Hi Julia! I think you are doing great work. I wish I had a mentor like you when I went into CT school. Keep it up! You are amazing. I’m thinking of going for MRI school also maybe next year sometime. Any tips?
I appreciate that! I've been using ASRT MR Basics and it's been super helpful. A couple helpful websites I've been told about are mrimaster.com and mriquiz.com - you'll have to pay for mriquiz, but I've been told that's the best thing to use when studying for boards! I'll be purchasing it once I've documented all of my required exams and am closer to taking boards
Hi! I’m a current xray tech looking into ct or mri! I was able to rotate through CT as a student but unfortunately i was never able to rotate through mri so idk if I’ll be interested in it or not. Either way, i know how ct works so if mri is anything like that i think I’ll like it. Can you make a video over the pros & cons of each modality? So i have a better idea of which one to choose 🙂
Hey! I can try to do this - any specific questions you'd like me to answer? A lot of the places I rotated through had their CT techs also be registered in MR, so you could always do both if you were interested! I do both in addition to xray!
@@JuliaKristine i don’t have any specific questions honestly, maybe the difference in pay between them both, are they both equally physically demanding, what’s the difference in between them both. I live in texas and unfortunately i don’t have any places near me that require techs to train in both 😔 otherwise i would 😭
Do you know where the blue zip up is from? I actually really like the weekly vlogs bc you have such a good work/life balance! I work in healthcare too and it’s draining sometimes feeling like work takes up all your time. I love seeing all the other things you do throughout the week and traveling.
I LOVE you!!! Keep going!!! And you're a lovely person!!! You're enough and everything that you show us!!! Everything is well no worries Be Blessed!!!🕊🤍🌸
I love your work vlogs and the snippets you’re able to show us just as much as I like your regular non-work vlogs. Don’t mind the haters. I don’t understand what the problem really is. Aside from influencers or those who work from home, how many of us can actually film videos at the workplace? It’s called being professional. Just keep doing you. I love your channel.
I love your content!! Literally can 100% relate because I’m a fellow x-ray/mri technologist and LOVE these types of videos, but also love your non-work videos, because like you said, your life is not all about your job. Those comments are more than likely coming from those who clearly have no idea about the healthcare world and HIPAA. Keep being you, girl! 💗
Hey girl!! Just subscribed to your channel! I was wondering if you could give me some honest advice . I currently live in Los Angeles and I’m about to start an MRI program in the next 3 weeks . I have no prior experience , and I have not gone to rad tech school . I was excited until lately I have been searching up jobs and it appears that most hospitals want you to have a CRT license in addition to your ARRT (MR)…. This is making me worried and anxious .. the MRI program is not cheap , am I doing a disservice to myself by going straight into MRI and skipping x ray school? I don’t want to struggle finding a job . My goal is MRI .. I don’t want to do x ray but should I enroll in a rad tech program instead of an AA in MRI? Im questioning if I’m doing the right thing .
hiii! aw, I am so happy to have you here! honestly I don't know a whole lot about programs that are only for MRI, but I do know that it's definitely possible to find jobs with those credentials! Going through a whole Rad Tech program would take you sooo much longer to get to your end goal, so I would maybe just stick with your MRI program!
I love your videos! People that comment negative things are just people that are jealous or have nothing better to do! I love all the different videos you post, and I love watching your videos especially because I work in healthcare and because I am going to college for X-ray and CT! It’s hard to film work vlogs at work because you are on the clock and because of HIPPA but some people just do not understand. We all do appreciate the hard work you do with these videos!💕
I feel the exact same way about the repetitive nature of vlogging when you work a normal job!! Still love watching yours, though, so makes me feel better :)
@@JuliaKristine thank you by the way I love your videos and you inspired me to go in field of radiology tech ☺️ thank you for taking the time to respond
I do, but I don’t work with a traditional closed bore scanner. It’s an open MRI 1.2T with a vertical magnetic field - I would never wear it in any other scanner
It makes me so sad to see such rude comments! I love your channel, and I think your work weeks are very relatable. Also, I think everyone would totally understand if you wanted to take a break from RUclips until you officially start staying at your apartment - we all need a mental break sometimes! And I fully believe Winnie will come around to going to the bathroom at the new place. She just really likes her current routine it seems like but she'll get there!
@calgaryloversevenseven commenting from an account where your identity is completely hidden is actually for cowards too! It’s crazy but the more ya know 🤷🏻♀️
Hey Julia. I know we haven’t talked for awhile, but I would like to say don’t let these haters get you down. You don’t owe anyone an explanation of why you vlog the things you do. I’ve come to realize that no matter what you do, there will ALWAYS be someone out there who doesn’t like what you do. You can’t make everyone happy, which is hard for me to understand too, but it’s true. Focus on the people who DO love your vlogs and don’t worry about some mean comments from people who are bored online. In the end, they are the ones giving you views. I’d like to say, you’re doing a great job being a dog mom. Winnie will get the hang of it, it takes time.. trust me. You share such happiness and I enjoy your videos a lot. If you need to take time to focus on yourself and Winnie, you have every right. Take a break. Focus on her and when things are better, start vlogging again. Your viewers will always be here❤️ take care of yourself. If you ever need anyone to talk to, you know my number!
Great vlog Julia 💕 I enjoy every single video you share with us! I am so sorry for all the rude comments and hate others are leaving on your videos . If you end up wanting to quit RUclips due to the reasons you gave then that’s completely okay. Although I absolutely adore your videos you need to put yourself first ! Do whatever makes you happy and does not destroy your mental health. Sending all my love and positive vibes your way as you figure out what you want to continue with in life ❣️
Day in life doesn't always mean show the actual job. If they wanna see videos of actual job, they should watch what's like to work as, or my day at work etc. it's just your daily life routine! These people 🤨 ... There will always be people who comment nonsense things. Some are just trolls. Don't let these comments feel you down, make it as a motivation that you are you! And if they're not happy w your content, they don't have to watch 😄😄 I love watching your videos! 😃☺️
I love your videos… keep up the good work… you could just sit there and look at your walls all day and I would support you… some people are just negative and stupid… keep doing what you are doing and show what you want to show…🌺
Hey! Julia you are my favourite youtuber and I really enjoyed watching your vlogs so so much you’re too cute and I wish you reach 50K Subscribers very very soon!♥️✨😍💫🤗
I love your videos!! Don’t care about what rude people have to say, I totally get where you’re coming from with not wanting to film while at work. Also I see why you chose to work at an office, I’ve been working in a hospital for about a week now and these people can be so mean 😂
I love the clinic setting so much! I hope things start to look up for you! Hostility in the work environment truly is the worst. Wishing you all the best! 💛

Omg wtf?!?? What is wrong with people? I think you just not letting them get to you is the best that you can do. You know people are always going to criticize and hate because they’re miserable and are probably jealous that you are young👏🏼beautiful👏🏼smart👏🏼and successful 👏🏼 and they can’t seem to even fathom that you could be all of those! Do you girl! On another note it’s been a minute since I have my fan-girl moments when you reply to my messages because I too have been finally done with my CT Clinicals and I’m preparing for the boards 😞and it’s like being back to freak out mode like when we took the x-ray boards lol! Did you take your already? Love the content of your videos as per usual!
I appreciate this more than you'll ever know 💞 it's just hard to not let those negative things effect me when these people only know me from one 15 minute video of 24+ hours! I take my boards on Monday, March 28th! when are yours?!
@@JuliaKristine ohhhh my god! I just got butterflies 😂😂😂how exciting I will virtually celebrate with you because I know you’re going to rock that exam! (I still can’t believe that!) but hopefully soon!!! Oh man definitely will hit you up to see how it went! Yayyyyy!!!!! You’re going to do amazing!!!
once it’s warmer, you could try and teach Winnie to go potty on command! It’s super convenient and it wouldn’t matter if she was on leash or not since you are asking her to.
I think that while people are just curious and interested in seeing what a technologist work is like, they’re not being as respectful of your boundaries as they should. Or kind in their comments. It has to be frustrating to see that, and I feel like you have explained how you feel about sharing certain things very clear. Perhaps they’re new viewers who haven’t seen ones that you do talk in length about your family not wanting to be filmed and not wishing to film at your job. I hope it doesn’t chase you away from doing RUclips.
Regardless of what I do, it’s not going to be good enough for those people! At the end of the day, my videos are for entertainment and not education! 😅
@@JuliaKristine yes, please keep doing RUclips because I do like your content. I am an MRI technologist so it is lovely to see one of my colleagues as a RUclipsr. I enjoy all the puppy content, workouts, lifestyle, aesthetics. I think seeing too much work from you would be a repeat of my day haha. For being introverted you really put yourself out there doing videos and that is amazing. I just hope people are more kind in their comments moving forward.
I can’t w the ppl commenting that they want to see more footage of you at work LOL I don’t think they understand how HIPAA works or that we have full schedules with very little time to sit and vlog
I don’t understand why people have to be so rude. You can’t show every single part of your day at work….cause your working. Like if you don’t like it-don’t watch? No need to belittle someone. I also think maybe trying potty pads in your apartment or even on your patio may help!!
Hey Julia! You need to just stay at your place don't give the pup a choice. Take her out every hour . She will learn to go! I have moved with pets and the best thing to do is show her she has no choice going back and forth is confusing for her. She knows you will do it. Getting rescue dogs , they can be confused but after a few days adjust. It will work! Hang in for a few days and she will learn she has no choice but to go there !!!
Unfortunately she has to go to my parent's house because my brother lives there and he watches her some days while I am working. But thank you for the advice!
I really like your channel, love the blogs, but is anything worth your happiness? You are young with lots of life to live, enjoy it, I hope Winnie starts to relax and potty at home(your house)
Hello! Constructive criticism for you (but with love and respect): I think the reason you've gotten negative feedback on these videos is it's misleading to title them "Day in the Life: CT/MRI technologist" because many people searching for that are wanting to learn about the field [hello, that's me :) ] That being said, I don't mind this type of comprehensive day-in-the-life video, but you ought to DISCUSS your work day / week if you're going to title the video in this way. It's often disappointing when I come across something like this and then the only mention of the job is when you clock in and out. You seem lovely so no hate here, just a suggestion!! Take care :)

Absolutely! I really appreciate your support!
Yaaaay, week in the life vlog!!!!
Wow, I'm so sorry that you deal with people like that, but don't let those haters bring you down. You are awesome and make amazing content!!!
more to come! thank you so much, Mady 💕
I love watching your videos! We all know (or should) that you can’t film sensitive information about work and with patients. That’s crazy people expect that. Unless it’s other employees re-enacting for education purposes you won’t see that. I love all of it!
Love your videos! I’m currently studying for my boards in RTBC!
My dog had the sane problem when I moved. We would take him on a short walk just down the block and he'd use the bathroom. Eventually he started using the new yard. Just takes some time.
Thank you! Keeping my hopes up 😊
I honestly like watching vloggers like you, do your morning routine and what not . Its very satisfying to listen and watch for more than 10 minutes what you do, in your life. Besides, if thats how you want your content to be then do it without haters input💁🏻♀️💕 besides if followers dont want to see certaib things in videos then they can cut those parts out in their content 💅
Also really struggling with my channel just being a work channel.. that is what people actually watch, but I kind of wanted my channel to be more of an outlet outside of my work, so totally relate
yes!!! at the end of the day, I’m going to post what doesn’t make me feel burnt out!
I always love your videos! Don’t listen to those negative people!! They’re just jealous.
It's hard to make work day vlogs as a tech. When I a made a day in the life video, I had a part were I was making eggs, some dude commented " wtf are you making eggs for? Nobody wants to see that" 🤣 I'd say just make videos that are fun to you.
Hahahaha because you’re a real human and you’ve gotta eat! 😂
Don't mind the comment. You are living the best of your life, and honestly, they were just expecting too much. Just continue to be who you are and i love the videos you shared.
thank you!
For the record I love seeing you make your coffee! ❤️☕️
aw hahaha you’re the best! I personally love watching all of those type of clips in other people’s content 😂
I really appreciate that 💕 the zip up is from Lattelier!
Also what would you recommend from Crisp N Green? One just opened near me but I have no idea 1) if it is good or 2) what to order. 😅
yes!!! I love it. I get the ahh… greek out grain bowl and wild wild southwest salad!
I appreciate you so much!
Thank you for being real on your vlogs ♥
thank you so much for your support! 💕
People are haters. Pay them no attention 💕 I LOVE seeing your everyday routine along with work 😘
hahah thank you! 💕 I’m just a people pleaser and need thicker skin 😝
I appreciate your support so much 🥺🤍 your love and support means more than you will ever know
I love your videos 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 it motivates me while I’m in x ray school
Happy early St. Patrick’s Day, Julia!💚💚
@@JuliaKristine thank you so much for replying !! ☺️☺️☺️
Being a rad tech is there times when you can get over time working in the office or hospitals?
yes, but that entirely depends where you work!
Ending my work day with this lovely video🥰
love youuu!
Thank you so much! 🤍
I always enjoy watching your vlogs!
thank you so much ❣️
I feel the exact same way about the repetitive nature of vlogging when you work a normal job!! Still love watching yours, though, so makes me feel better :)
ilysm 💕
Where are your scrubs from?
which ones?
@@JuliaKristine your grey scrubs ☺️
@@jaylinefarfan257 Jaanuu! They’re one of my favorite brands 😊
@@JuliaKristine thank you by the way I love your videos and you inspired me to go in field of radiology tech ☺️ thank you for taking the time to respond
Do you really wear your apple watch all day? Like even into MRI?
I do, but I don’t work with a traditional closed bore scanner. It’s an open MRI 1.2T with a vertical magnetic field - I would never wear it in any other scanner
It makes me so sad to see such rude comments! I love your channel, and I think your work weeks are very relatable. Also, I think everyone would totally understand if you wanted to take a break from RUclips until you officially start staying at your apartment - we all need a mental break sometimes! And I fully believe Winnie will come around to going to the bathroom at the new place. She just really likes her current routine it seems like but she'll get there!
Thank you so much!!! I have faith in her 🥰
I work at an ER in registration & if people don’t understand HIPAA then they can get over it in my opinion. Keep doing you :) i love your videos.
I appreciate that, Amy! thank you!
Love watching! There will always be mean, nasty people that want to bring others down. Just block them and move on! They don't matter!!!!! xo
hahah so true!
@calgaryloversevenseven commenting from an account where your identity is completely hidden is actually for cowards too! It’s crazy but the more ya know 🤷🏻♀️
@calgaryloversevenseven 🥺🥺🥺
Have you considered pee/poop pads on your patio as an alternative?
they don’t allow them!
If you ever need anyone to talk to, you know my number!
you’re the best, Haylee! 💕🥺 hope you’re doing well!
I love your videos so much, specially your vlogs because they motivated me, because I also have a 9-5 job ☺️❤️
I appreciate this so much!
Sending all my love and positive vibes your way as you figure out what you want to continue with in life ❣️
I appreciate you! I won’t quit, just voicing why I’ve been unmotivated 💕 can’t let them win!
@@JuliaKristine definitely don’t quit doing what you love! You have so many supporters who love you here and everything you share with us 😌❤️
Day in life doesn't always mean show the actual job. 😃☺️
I appreciate this! Thank you!
Love this 💙
Please don’t let the negative people steal your joy. P.S- Love your videos 🤍🤍🤍🤍
trying my best! 💕
How are you managing working and living at your parents? They live in another state?
Nope.. you must be thinking of someone else. My parents live like two minutes from me.
I love your videos!! Don’t care about what rude people have to say, I totally get where you’re coming from with not wanting to film while at work. Also I see why you chose to work at an office, I’ve been working in a hospital for about a week now and these people can be so mean 😂
(By people I mean employees not patients)
I love the clinic setting so much! I hope things start to look up for you! Hostility in the work environment truly is the worst. Wishing you all the best! 💛
Ignore the haters. Don’t apologize. The majority of us wanna see you make your coffee etc. if they don’t like it turn the channel. 🙂 love your vlogs whatever they’re about.
hahaha yes! Like no one strapped them down and made them watch it 😂
I just submitted the application this week to the ARRT and I’m going to call them up actually today to see when they have available because I’m in Orlando and there’s only one Pearson VUE site in this whole entire city!
I will definitely have to try that!! thank you!
I like your videos
thank you!
I can’t w the ppl commenting that they want to see more footage of you at work LOL I don’t think they understand how HIPAA works or that we have full schedules with very little time to sit and vlog
I came in on my day off to film once and that’s still wasnt good enough for people 👀
Oh no!! So sorry you had to do that! Well I appreciate your videos and all your hard work 💕
Nice
Hi
I will fight anyone who leaves you a negative comment ever again
fcking love you hahaha. watch out cowboys 🤠
I don’t understand why people have to be so rude. You can’t show every single part of your day at work….cause your working. Like if you don’t like it-don’t watch? No need to belittle someone. I also think maybe trying potty pads in your apartment or even on your patio may help!!
Exactly!
ugh sadly they don’t allow those to be on the patios :( I have confidence she will get it once it’s not so snowy out!
people clearly don’t understand how awkward and weird it is to be filming yourself at work 🤣 especially in a confidential setting like healthcare!!
yes! absolutely. I come in early to get the clips when patients aren’t here yet 😂
You are young with lots of life to live, enjoy it, I hope Winnie starts to relax and potty at home(your house)
thank you!
Thanks! I have corrected the misleading titles.
