To me its complete silence, you need a good *kachink* on a bolt release to bolster it a bit as the animation is relatively simple. I also liked whatever the hell was happening with the sliding charging handle lol

They look pretty good honestly. It's extremely robotic and quick, but i find it... oddly satisfying. Regardless, dont expect a COD/Tarkov or some tacticool shooter for every fps games ever, this clearly isn't a firearm simulation, heck firearms is barely what the game is about.

There arent that many popular tacticool fps games outside of america to begin with, except for Tarkov. But that game is hyperrealistic and its russian, not american They look fine to me, very robotic but they don't look like shit at all. Oddly satisfying to my eyes

They generally have the basic movements necessary for the firearms, but shit just don’t look right at all because they didn’t apply what those actions actually even do lmao

Those gun animations can be considered masterpieces compared to dying light gun animations.. and well the combat i dead island is more satisfying in my opinion
It’s a tactical charging handle, it’s real just not common and it offers more ease of use and safety advantages, the pump is kept for the ease of chambering a new round when shooting so you wouldn’t have to reach over every time, only when it’s semi auto like the assault shotgun does it not need the pump mechanism
I never understood why dead island or any normal zombie game doesn't have just regular normal gun plus weird guns like bruh it's not 100 years into the zombie apocalypse guns are plenty and will still look the same in 100 years of zombie the only thing really that could be scarce is ammo so stop making these weird fking guns in these zombie games it ruins it. There's a certain mission where you meet Sam B to get guns and after that, you can find guns as loot or in shops. While I was playing first time with a friend within an hour I'd gotten a few guns just dropped from zombies. They might have been SWAT zombies I don't remember so I don't know if that matters.
The gun handling is far from perfect. Animations on the weapons feel a bit stiff and unresponsive, as if they're playing with toys. Also, the re-use of the same sounds across several very different weapon platforms (AR-15 to AK, most notably) is a bit jarring. Overall, I'd give it a 4/10 or 5/10. Passable, but could've been better.
So unrealistic almost every single one of these guns isn't California compliant especially not know these are fix magazines I wish the game would have had the stupid weapons California had to make people angry but no they had to give them like traditional weapons I mean come on developers a leash
