"i didn't know they made retractable tape measures this long " (meaning three meters) had me! Obviously she means a sewing measure, I know that, but still, it giggled me. Also, brought to mind all the times my gpas great big Stanley was all I could find to use
Re machine needles the industry standard guidance is to change your needle after ~8hrs sewing....and to match your needle to your thread rather than to your fabric.
It's another way of saying Serger. A machine that finishes off the raw edges of fabric. I have no idea whether Janome is available in the US. Might be worth googling? :)
Yes they are available here in America. In fact if you have a store called Costco, they have them for sale. I have a Juki. They are the best in my opinion. TFSJess
Thank you very much
You are welcome Cherine! x

Haha. Thanks for watching. x
Very nice video. I really would like you to teach me how to use the serger. Ive never used one and I wish my sewing teacher had taught me how to use.
Thank you! Of course! I'll make a note to do a 'serger basics' video! :) Love hearing suggestions! x
Ohhhh, thank u 😘

JessalliHandmade do you think an overlocker is necessary making baby clothes and blankets to sell
To sell maybe as it looks way more professional, but it's not a necessity. x

Which cutting mat do you use?
I had an old grey one that I think was my grandmothers. It's since been replaced to an amazing double sided A1 Fiskars one. And I love it. :)
