Not sure a replica (fake) would be a “dream” though, your not getting the experience of the real thing. To add the 13 plate is a bit embarrassing, needs to go for a dateless private plate.
In what way aren't you getting the experience though? A fake Ferrari I could completely understand as it simply isnt the same, but these are very different
JayEmm on Cars, a car like this is an homage to the original and I can understand. The engine has the same DNA as the originals, the shifter on the right, the mechanical set up, the brutal experience. Fake Ferrari’s are usually just MR2s or Z3/Z4 in drag. Once at a classic car show I saw a group of Ferrari’s all parked up. Went for a nosey. As I got closer could see something wasn’t right. Then saw it was a fake Ferrari owners club. The 550 looked so wrong, underneath it was an XKR.
99% of drivers aren't capable of getting the "real" experience of the real thing. Watch Kenny Brack at Goodwood monstering the real thing and you'll understand.
This isn’t just some kit car Ford legit gave superformance the license to continue the serial numbers. The only difference in the blueprints is the magnesium parts are now aluminum.

What a amazingly great video. Thanks Jay. I had the good fortune to see one of the original very limited (7 examples if my memory serves me well) production road legal examples of the GT40 at the Peterson Museum in L.A. this past January. No photographic or video replications give an accurate idea of the way the vehicle looks on person nor the readily apparent compromises that the basic design makes to the one specific goal of being the most very amazing vehicle on it's time. You simply do not get the full effect of the other worldly body work and its many convolutions and creases from a picture or video. It has to be seen to be believed. I stood there in the museum laughing at the the complete lack of driver or occupant comforts, trying to fathom how my very ordinary 5'11" body would have to contort itself to fit that eminently bare bones cockpit (WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOUR FEET SUPPOSED TO GO ON EITHER SIDE OF THE STEERING SHAFT?!?). In a building that featured the very first AC Cobra ever made and a host of other spectacular machinery, that GT40 was the one that left the most lasting impression. Jay, I cannot over state my jealousy at you getting to drive even a replica.

Jay is like a cool Schmee 😂
great vid as always James....Gt40 vs cobra??
