Thanks buddy there is alot of diggin to get ideas from these notes but it’s nice to hear the scale come alive
so, this is what we understand as lydian these days. brilliant maestro. blissful, blue dreamy stuff aplenty. those ascending chords at the finish, transcendent.

I noodle about with the notes til I piece together something for an intro piece and then in that noodlefest process you are able to Improv afew examples like in the video - I would like to do an example of the entire set … locrian wouldn’t be a great day at the office tho lolololololo thanks glen

Thanks Dan - it’s nice to finally do some experimentin with some of these intervals- was foolin around briefly with Phrygian yesterday. .. a dark one I only ever associated with megadeth, Metallica etc

Brilliant as always, sir. The tones behind the guitar - is that an added synth or a pedal? How are you generating those subtle overtones? They really set the guitar in a lovely space.
Sammy, I add those synths after .. at the time I’m only hearin the acoustic.. I use the plugin emulation of the famous triton keyboard for that - mostly just low note drones just to hammer in the the bass key tonality - cheerz chief

@@chrisbrennanguitar yes I’ve been stealing your moves 👍🏼 weird how the root can sound off tho? Do you still think in E over E lydian? I’ve also been trying to play G#m pent with the added 9th or C#m pent with the added 9th but I don’t get the melodies you get.
