Just be thankful Bandai even thought of RG Zeta in the 1st place. Problems aside, shrinking MG esque capabilities in 144 isnt exactly an easy thing to do with a fully transformable inner frame. Now finally my 144 The O will have a score to settle with
Thanks for the look rrobbert! I like this kit. I think the details bring the MS to life, and it is something I would want to have displayed on my shelf. Unfortunately I am going to have to major league pass on this kit. I just can't deal with the loose joints like that. I am sure somebody is going to enjoy this kit, though.
Good job Rrobbert. I have the MGv2.0 Zeta and I was hoping this RG model would solve some of its problems. I guess some of them got addressed, but perhaps not enough. Looks lovely next to the HGUC, though. Partsformer or not, that kit was a rather dull depiction of the Zeta. Still deciding if I want this kit that badly or not, so I'll wait until all your videos are up before committing.
One problem i noticed while building this kit: The b-plate joint at the top of the arms (the joint that allows the arms to fold under the body when transforming) is so tight that it caused the plastic around it to turn white (a sure sign that it'll break eventually). I ended up having to lubricate it to alleviate stress.
I'm in the middle of building an RG Zeta, and my only gripe is the chest/waist area seem impossible to position correctly. It always looks (to my eye, anyway) like there's too big a gap in spots, or too many gaps. I think it's going to take a lot of fiddling with it to make it look just right.
I love your white panel lining!!!! Do you not have the HGUC Hyaku Shiki and Double Zeta? Because the 4, with the RGs of them would look great in your video.
Excellent review as usual rrobbert184. Do you think anything can be glued down to improve stability? I wonder how much of the articulation would suffer if you made it so it can't transform. Overall though, what an awesome model, easily the best proportions and head sculpt on a Zeta model yet to me.
It isn't even that the joints are loose, the internals are just REALLY frigidity. If one pays close attention to that and are really really careful the skys the limit (no pun intended) to the Zetas pose ability.
The kit is very hard to disassemble, You can't take off the legs and arms without some major disassembly. Actually, when I was building mine, first thought I had was "Oh, boy, rrobbert will not be happy with this! He won't be able to milk out a parts video on this one!" XD
YO ROBERT184 I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!!!!! R U ABLE TO DO A GUNDAM BEGINNING VIDEO? I THINK THEY HAVE DIFFERENT ONES TOO BUT ONE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IS GUNDAM BEGINNING J KAGUTSUCHI!!!!!! sorry for the caps but just a suggestion from your viewer..
Suryawan Pranata Suryawan The Hyaku Shiki is the non-transformable version of the Delta Gundam, so technically it is one, despite not having it in the name.
I stopped buying RG because every RG kit a bought had a terrible inner frame. And i'm no noob. I survived the MG Unicorn transformation. And it sucks cause kits like this look amazing!!!
Hmm got to say the Zeta Real Grade is a great kit has anyone found a website where I could get it at a fair price I'm looking at hlj or toyarena.com they both seem good.
So far I bought all RG kits and I don't have any problem with them except loose jonts. Someone said that RG is terrible because they have no experience and skills what so ever - -
Every? I have 7 and I would classify one of those as being a fragile/grenade kit. Have you built the last 2? Tallgeese and Sazabi are top tier SOLID. So no, not every.
Wow, that kits look really fragile. The hips are horrible and the head/chest section looks like a turtle. The shoulders are really too tiny. Well, I don't like it but that's my opinion so no offense to anyone who likes it.

The backpack brings up a question I've had for a while, what do you all use to panel-line black kits?
Good job Rrobbert. I have the MGv2.0 Zeta and I was hoping this RG model would solve some of its problems. I guess some of them got addressed, but perhaps not enough.

The way the RG Zeta is assembled makes it hard to separate it into it's individual parts, so he just skipped to MS
Wait, whoa, since when did TK go straight from unboxing to the MS? Doesnt he usually review the parts, then put it together?
I feel like watching sport channel listen to your review.

Before he even said a word, my first reaction was "Dammit! It can stand!"
I love my MG Zeta, but his feet really were flawed in their design.
why the hell bandai left out the mega aluncher when they include it i n the HG
the white lining at the back make it looks like kinda metalic black nice idea rrobbert ;D
It isn't even that the joints are loose, the internals are just REALLY frigidity. If one pays close attention to that and are really really careful the skys the limit (no pun intended) to the Zetas pose ability.
great job on the white lining rrobbert..love it
what thing you used? toothpick?
Looks like it might explode like all the other zeta kits.
Time to wait for RG destiny.
What color exactly did you use for the lining on the backpack? White, or just a light gray?
Is this painted or unpainted? I'm trying to decide if I want to paint mine and would like a good look at an unpainted RG Zeta.
i've been thinking about getting this or the RG Mk2 but if they release a Hyaku Shiki, i might just skip to that
How did you go about lining the wings/backpack/the black, white?
@PokePheonix all grades minus first should get your full attention to any detail you can give it!
7:36 gunpla asmr
i did not see the parts video, but for some reason, the chest seems hollow
Probably white RealTouch markers (if that exists) or probably a white panel wash.
Amazing kit considering that this is first RG that transforms.
Wonder if the RG double Zeta will ever come out o_O
i was thinking the same. because you could always buy two one for transformation and the other is the ms
mine hasn't arrive yet :(
Which grades need stickers/lining/sanding?
@rrobbert184 may i know what kind of white lining marker u use for zeta gundam????
i ment did he use white gundam marker , real touch marker, or something else
which is taller the hguc zeta or the rg zeta
what did he use for the white lining?
RROBBERT!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR SHIELD IS UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!
How the hell is that considered a shield xD
It just is.
Gunpla is freedom!!!! *screams Meijin Kawaguchi
NOT FOR REAL GRADES. *I say back
What liner do you use ? For the white lining
Hope they make a transformable RG V-Dash Gundam

Could you do the master grade zeta gundam ver.2.0.
That Delta Gundam.. Nice surprise, Rrobbert !
Mine suffers stress marks at certain inner joints
You have NO idea how hard to keep those vents up, especially when you handle the figure
Yeah, just got this problem to mine so I didn't bother transforming it after building it.
i love your reviews robert, I wonder how you pay for all these gunpla
I kinda regret buying this kit a bit now probrably should've bought the regular RX-78
What's the name of the gold one at 7:01?
Hyaku shiki
That Hyaku Shiki, its not RG right?
There's no RG hyaku Shiki gundam yet
J KGF hyaku shiki not gundam :) , btw thats delta gundam :D prototype for zeta gundam
Suryawan Pranata Suryawan oops
grandsentinel4 yup i mean hyaku shiki is not a gundam , you can see it from the top conversation dude... well sorry for my basic mistake
Suryawan Pranata Suryawan The Hyaku Shiki is the non-transformable version of the Delta Gundam, so technically it is one, despite not having it in the name.

How could some1 unlike this?
I can't get the upper body well placed. T_T
RG is slightly taller (by ~1cm)
dalong . net / review / hg / rg10 / p / rg10_135 . jpg
@0onailueG gundam planet has good prices and shipping.
i am really looking forward to the transformatio:D
Hope the transformation doesn't require you to disassemble it :P
8 years later, and it is now a general fact that it disassembles itself when you transform it
excitement embodied
The inner frames in my experience have been terrible even if it doesn't transform. The RG RX-78-2 inner frame was terrible and it couldn't transform
Same size, there both 1/144 scale
So much delicious panel lining.
You got wrong shield :(
Hmm got to say the Zeta Real Grade is a great kit has anyone found a website where I could get it at a fair price I'm looking at hlj or toyarena.com they both seem good.
nope. but the side skirts and flying armor will likely fall off.
So far I bought all RG kits and I don't have any problem with them except loose jonts. Someone said that RG is terrible because they have no experience and skills what so ever - -
6:37 hehe, I got news for you.
It is in some places.
that's what i said for the MG age-2.
He used a white gundam marker
You had the shoulder fucked up and pushed in the entire review. Good job.
I'm building it now...
The silver panel lining looks horrible.
I really dislike transforming suits in kit form, so this is going to be a pass, had enough rage with the MG 2.0 version of the Zeta.
Robert, we don't want to know how you freak people out at parties: moving Gundams the wrong way lol.
Zeta doesn't have limbs. It's one big thing.
its probably the lack of interest for those vids from the vast majority of his subscribers
My zeta doesn't feal loose
The hguc is better
ahhh! forgivable considering it is the first rg!
I disagree, I think it looks pretty nice.
the kit looks very fragile
Trust me, it's not. It's loose, but not breakable.
Oh dear god.
Delta Gundam
hmmm
hahaha had the same problems on my zeta!
It won't.
think ill skip this one. not a fan of flimsy
yolo
How frail is every RG kit? Over 9000%.
Every? I have 7 and I would classify one of those as being a fragile/grenade kit. Have you built the last 2? Tallgeese and Sazabi are top tier SOLID. So no, not every.
no
nope.
OH HOHOHO they do they do.... fall off alot.
This kit is the worst.....just like RG sinanju.
That hip joint is disgusting to me.
Wow, that kits look really fragile. The hips are horrible and the head/chest section looks like a turtle. The shoulders are really too tiny.
Well, I don't like it but that's my opinion so no offense to anyone who likes it.
Sorry, but I've got to say that that is the ugliest RG i've ever seen next to the RG freedom
It looks boxy.
