Berserk Boy Review | Strong Start, Weak Finish

Berserk Boy, developed by BerserkBoy Games, is a fast-paced action platformer that I think takes tons of inspiration from series like Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog. The game is fun and engaging, but as more and more abilities are added I felt that Berserk Boy started to be held down by it's own weight. While it's first impressions are strong, I think that it is held back by some design decisions that actually do more harm than good.

As of 8/1/24, the things I talk about @5:05 have been patched and reduced to a lower amount (on Steam at least). While I do think this change is positive and improves the game overall, I feel that it doesn't affect my other criticisms.
