Korsuntsev n'est pas un danseur bien transcendant, mais quelle allure ! Quel corps de statue ! Des jambes parfaites, un port de bras large, généreux, souverain, et qui "parle", jamais maniéré.. dommage qu'il ait toujours l'air si triste !
Somova, un peu hautaine, est décevante dans les fouettés, qu'elle exécute très rapidement mais sans élégance aucune.
Merci Marc Leroy, pour ces extraits. On voudrait bien voir cet hommage à Petipa en entier !

Out of this world, I agree with aaron kong-her fuettes are scary, they are so good.
I found them scary because of the exact opposite... She dropped out of her axis ever so often... She saved herself well, but my heart nearly stopped a few times!

somova her usual nonrhythmic self, and always weak in the knees and ankle, i worry she'll break her ankle every time i watch her dance...she reminds me of another hyper extended weak legged scary to watch bellerina from bolshoi , pavlova... so loose she cant hold herself up !

I actually don't like her fouettes....they look so uncontrolled and frantic. The technique of the whole thing is impeccable though!
I prefer Alina's Mariinsky colleague, Olysea Novikova. More delicate, more subtle....
