Sir can you tell me one this, as per my knowledge that for your PR to be approved for life time ...the holder has to stay in CA for 3 year...what if the person has to come to his home for emergency...will the PR process get cancelled and hv to reapply it...

3 years doesn't have to be in one go. In the 5 years your PR will be valid, you'll be eligible for citizenship if you stay in Canada for at least 3 years, not necessarily at one time; it can be spread out over a period of 5 years. You can visit your home country as many times as you wish.

Your reply will help me understand lot more about teaching in Canada 🙏 I'm a teacher in English I have a two year experience, I have completed diploma in English language and literature, TKT ( Cambridge assessment), TESOL 180 hours and pre school diploma. Pre school and elementary schools are my choice in teaching. 1.Can I migrate to Canada with a PR and work in a school while studying a BA or. B.Ed in Canada? Or at least teach in a private institution? 2.Usually how much does it cost to do a BA or a B.Ed in Canada? 3. Will there be any chances where we will be qualified to teach in a school or in an institute for sometime without a BA or B.Ed?

In my understanding, you need to be a Resident in order to get registered with Ontario College of Teachers, however, Nova Scotia teaching registration body can issue you a practicing certificate on Work Visa status too. The question is when you apply to public schools in Canada for teaching jobs you need to be a Resident or Work Visa will do??

Coming to the point i have a few questions if you could help me with. So i have a Bachelors degree in English, have done B.Ed. & currently have 2 yrs of teaching experience in Primary. I am exploring some options to relocate to Canada. But my scores are not meeting the expectations. As I am working I can not do a regular course & planning to do a distance Masters course i have 2 things in mind.
▪ Will it be a good idea to do masters from distance education either from my home country India/ Canada?
▪ Will doing a masters course boost me CRS scores and by how much points and if i do it as a regular course then I'll get a push of how many points?

I am not very clear about the steps outlined. First I need to get a PR, and then come to Canada and get a 2-semester teaching course and pay for it. So, that means I will have to live in Canada, pay for my tuition, housing, and food (which is expensive), and only after 1 year I can get a teaching certification and get a job?

WES & OCT are DIFFERENT certifications. WES evaluates your previous education whereas OCT certifies your teaching ability according to Ontario standards.

Hi there, Dream Canada. Thank you so much for your videos! They have been incredibly helpful. I'm a teacher and my husband is a teacher and is completing his Masters in school counselling- both fields of work seem to require a teaching licence in order to be employed in Education in Canada. We have 2 children so we do need job security before applying and immigrating to Canada. The teaching licence seems to take a minimum of 6 months to complete in Canada. So my question is, is there any way of making enough income to support a family while completing the teaching licence? Any advice or recommended links will be greatly appreciated. Scary to move an entire family without a job offer. Kind regards

Teacher as a profession in Canada is regulated so you will need to obtain a provincial teaching license after you have received your PR. That means you'll still need to study inland.

If I apply through Express Entry and at the same time for the Atlantic program or the Rural program, in oder to have more than one option, may I at the same time process the study program? I mean, , it is that I really like the Atlantic program (Nova Scotia), I loved Vernón BC about the rural program, but I would also like to study at NS. That is why the reason for my question and I anticipate my gratitude.
You'll have the freedom to study in any Atlantic province after you get your PR. Alternatively, you can just apply for a student permit directly and then your PR later.
